[Healer Aurelie Descoteaux]

Treating ORANGE #9: Nicolas Alcaldo

 

Aura had just returned back from her gruelling previous surgery. The brain damage had been almost out of hand, and had been pretty acute. If they had waited for some time more, they might have lost the Bats chaser. Even right now though, the man was not stabilized and had to been overseen for the night. Aura made a mental note to check up on him later but right now she had other patients to tend to. The frenzy seemed to have gotten worse in the meanwhile, and seeing no other critical cases at the moment, she decided to check on the other ones. Coming up to a guy who seemed to be unconscious, Aura looked over at his clipboard. Nicholas Alcaldo. His bone seemed to have been patched up with a good job, she would just check on it later. Right now she needed to get some blood into this person. 

 

"Blood transfusion. Asap." Taking her wand she quickly hooked the blood transfusion set up to the man as the nurse quickly placed a bag of blood. Going to the cabinets she pulled out a blood replenishing potion and administered the same to the man. Post that, she did the hologram spell on him quickly to check for other internal wounds, and while there were some bruises and burns; nothing more serious had occurred. Even the brain seemed to look fine. "Burn paste, bruise-healing paste.." She directly at the required areas, even helping with some of the spots to make quick work of the same. "Let me know if he wakes up, okay? Will need to check for concussion, while there isn't any apparent damage - but you never know." With that she walked to tend to other patients.

Treating Orange #1: Beckett Evans

Varun was on the emergency floor when the first patient arrived - soon followed by the rest. He was catching up on the score of his favorite sports which had one of the Irish teams in lead. Varun could have easily gone to view the match but he didn't because there was a shortage of healers. Most of them had family watching the match so it made sense for them to go. Varun had no family willing to watch so what was the point. It didn't matter if he was spectator or tallying scores through other means.

The first patient came in and more started coming. He rushed into the emergency room where one child was brought in and a healer pointed for him to go help there. "I got him," Varun replied to Ralph who had got the kid and took a moment to assess his injuries. The boy had been a victim of a lot of grave injuries. "Mr. Evans, I am going to perform a few spells to mend your bones. It might hurt but only for a little bit." He reassured the boy and pointed his wand at the body which was covered with dust from the explosion. A quick cleaning spell had him viewing the wounds clearly and he started with the broken ribs. "Brackium Emendo." The spell was cast several times wherever the bone was damaged and he moved towards the fractured leg, repeating the same process. "Ferula." With the help of assessment and scanning, Varun realigned the leg bone once it was repaired and applied the bandage on the top of it. It must have hurt a little but once the process was over, the pain was gone. "How do you feel?" He asked Beckett once his bones were repaired.

Helping Elvira with the treatment of Orange #19: Maja Moretto

 

Everything happened so fast. One moment Katerina was reading through her files of the pregnancy reports for the women she was assessed, the next they were called down to the Emergency triage as shouts submerged the hospital. The moment she was paged, she rushed down to see the matter and was greeted with bloodied and injured patients spread across the triage room. It was chaos, I tell you. Further down, she noticed Healer Popovich treating to patients at the same time and made way over to her. "Let me help with the girl." The man who was with her explained the smoke that the patient inhaled and she nodded. "Please lay still, Ms. Moretto. I am going to perform a quick scan." Examining the woman, Katerina could see the anxiety that was clear. "Videre Internus!" The scanning spell that she performed resulted in a green mist that gave Katerina access to the internal system of the body, moving from her head to her nasal, through her lungs and her stomach and to her legs. Katerina did a double-take. She had missed something. She murmured the same spell now hovering on her lungs and her stomach and saw the tiny movement. Oh goodness! They had missed out on the little detail.

 

"The oxygen will help you recover so you don't have to worry about it. I am going to give you a potion that will help you with your stomach as well. I must say quick thinking on your part of disapparating or it would have been very bad for your child." Katerina figured they would know about the child so she informed them the good news. "However, I do suggest you come in for the check-up sometimes later to make sure everything is fine." She usually was able to guess that a woman was going through a pregnancy period, hence she had stood out. Katerina walked over to the potions and picked up a vial of the strengthening solution. "Here, drink this." She handed the vial to the woman which will cover up for the weaknesses.

Claiming RED #1: Minister Fallon Steelgrave

 

Jared and JC did not waste any time the moment their feet hit the floor of the emergency ward. JC was already yelling commands while Jared was monitoring the Minister’s pulse. It’s there, but it was very weak. As for the protocol as the junior healers prepared the minister for operation as well as the operating room, Jared went to the sink on the corner of the room and washed his hands and the soot from his face and hair as quickly as possible so as not to contaminate the operating room. With another charm as he ran his hand through his hair, he dried everything before grabbing a clean robe and putting it on. He went back beside JC and nodded his head. ­"Ready." They both wheeled the unconscious woman to the operating room prepared for her.

Bringing in ORANGE #3 Zoey McLaggen

 

As soon as Ric had fixed some minor bruises and scratches that were fixable in the stadium, he had held at the patient and apparated into the Emergency triage where the beds were almost full with the patients. Some were being wheeled in the operating theater while the others were being treated on the beds. He had assessed the lady in the stadium so he pretty much knew what she was suffering from. "Need a healer here, please. She's secured a head concussion and broken ankle. Some of the bruises have been fixed but there are more. The wreckage had fallen on her." He gave the details as soon as one of the healers arrived to claim the woman and Ric handed her over, disapparating back to the stadium.

(Claiming Orange # 3. Zoey McLaggen)

Simon was only a junior healer but his few months had been a huge learning process for the boy and he has improved to the core, enough to be trusted to take the patients on his own. This was an emergency situation they were called at, Simon rushing to the scene of anarchy where healers brought in patients who needed help. He moved past as Healer Garstang brought yet another patient. "I'll look at her." Wheeling her to the closest available bed, he pointed his wand above her head. "Videre Internus," Simon cast the spell hovering the green hologram above her head to check the extent of her brain injury which needed immediate attention. He moved his wand to the rest of her body, pausing towards the ankle which was broken. "Hold tight." He informed murmuring, tergeo, episkey to clean and heal the bruises around and then, "brackium emendo" for the bone fracture. The hologram was able to show the fixing of the ankle which is bandaged it with the help of ferula for a few hours until he was not completely certain that it is fixed. Simon moved towards the head injury.

Bringing in RED #11 Bianca Haro

 

Ric was worried he'd be late with the amount of blood the woman had lost even though he had made sure that she was temporarily fixed from any further damage. He disapparated from the Stadium, arriving right in the hospital once more which seemed to have tripled in terms of the patients. There were even more now and the waiting area was filled with people worrying about their loved ones. At least the recovery room had now cured patients denoting that the healers were working at their best possible speed. "This is an emergency case! Need a healer urgently, please." He called out to anyone who was listening, informing the healer who arrived. "She needs to be taken into the operating ward instantly. She's lost a lot of blood, a lot of rocks and building remnants fell on her, especially on her head. I've fixed the burn temporarily but she's covered with them and bruises. The wreckage has fallen on her head so there might be possible damage internally near her eardrums." Ric gave the healer all the detail he required for the patient, leaving her to them before moving to the stadium once more.

Claiming RED #11: Bianco Haro

 

Elvira had fixed the man, Mr. Klassen with the treatment but she knew he needed to stay for a while till his bones were properly fixed. Even the woman was given the major remedies but Vira knew there was something up with the way her reaction was towards the explosion. Her face had no color and she can sense internal damage. As Katerina appeared, she waved her over. "Katerina, can you please have a look at Ms. Moretto." Elvira sensed something but she wasn't a part of the Maternity department so Kat knew best. She informed her observations to the other healer, giving her all the details of the fixture so far. "Mr. Klassen, I will be keeping you both here for a few hours if need be to make sure your bones are completely repaired. I'll leave you two under the care of Healer Lazarov." She smiled at them, handing over their reports and moving to the other patient who just came in.

 

"Prepare the operating room please," Elvira asked one of the junior healers, guiding the stretcher towards the Operating Room Two which was freed at the same time. She verified the reports of the woman which had several damages mentioned.

Bringing ORANGE #12: Rush Markowitz 

 

Arriving at the emergency area from the Stadium, the stretcher hovering beside him, JC announced his arrival by calling the attention of the Emergency ward healers. Urgent healer assistance required!! His voice was unmistakably hoarse, there’s a strain on it, maybe because of the stress of the incident. When he looked around the emergency room, it was full of patients and their families. His heart goes out to them but he’s got more important things to do now.  As soon as one approached him, JC explained his verdict, This one looks like a student, he lost consciousness, labored breathing with increase heart rate. Per initial checking, potential head injury and internal bleeding, the wound in his head told me he was hit by something, possibly debris. I would also check if the brain is swelling as it's also a possibility. Please administer blood transfusion. Once he's transferred the responsibility to the emergency healer, JC gave a curt nod and disapparated once again.

Treating RED #10: Victoria Noelle Armend

 

 

Christian made his way toward the next patient getting brought in by another healer. The patient was dressed in uniform, which told him she's one of the players. He also recognised the emblem she wore, which is the same as those on the posters that were displayed everywhere. Therefore, she was a big deal. He waved his wand then, summoning the patient's chart as his colleague recited the prognosis and what has already been done so far—which is already a lot. Christian merely nodded in thanks when the woman left him with the young lady.

 

He examined the girl's head first, gingerly running a probing hand across to check for any particular tender spots. There’s no open head wound, thankfully—but she took a perilous fall. Chances of a head trauma are high so he needed to check that again. Internal bleeding is also highly plausible in this case and it might possibly go undetected in early checks so they need to schedule that. Christian waved his wand then, above her resting head, casting the spell, "Videre Internus." Then a greenish haze appeared, giving him a view of what's going on with her, and he sighed. "Concussion," he muttered, reaching over and grabbing her chart to make note of it as well as that the patient requires overnight monitoring. He attended her other ailment then: a leg wound.

 

Raising his wand, he muttered a quick "diffindo" to rip the cloth of her uniform. Healer Homstad has mentioned having already given her Skelegro. Christian nearly made a face at that but he resisted. Instead, he managed to retain the same clinically detached look he's always had. With the mutter of another spell, he summoned up some bandages and wrapped them around the patient's leg in the correct form and position so as to guide the regrowing bone in the right place. He also went the extra mile, administering some Knotgrass. The girl is staying with them a little while longer so he might as well give her a slow restorative so she can rest up as well. Once that was done, Christian gave the order to a Junior Healer to move her onto the Recovery Room where she will be monitored.

Rush had been knocked out good. In fact the last thing he remembered was going completely blind temporarily because something had hit his head as he had reached the quidditch pitch looking for Astrid. How he had been moved, or where he had been transported to, he had no idea. In fact, before his mind went blank, he had felt an onset of panic because this was new to him. He had never experience getting hurt like this, and he wasn't sure what was happening because everything seemed to be closing in and he had no idea if he would even be alive and wake up. Maybe he wont. The pain in his head seemed to indicate that.

 

His eyes opened, barely by a crack. The setting was different, there were bright lights everywhere, and loads of sounds. LOADS OF SOUNDS. And his headache was worse, in fact his head felt so heavy like it would snap back if he tried waking up. It seemed like something was sitting on his head and was refusing to get up, and his ears seemed to be blocked out. His vision was very very blurry, but at least it had returned slightly. "UGH.." He let out a groan, as he tried raising his hand to his head, but couldn't. He couldn't. It was as if his hand was not responding to what he wanted to do. "Please...please call my dad.." He spoke weakly, not sure if anyone was listening. He was scared beyond his wits, because suddenly, he couldn't do anything. And he felt like he would die.

[Helping out Simon]

 

Aurelie had been in between patients when she saw a bed where a junior healer of the team was attending to a patient. Generally, she used to let junior healers do their thing back in Broussias after she had been promoted, because this was in fact a crucial part of their learning. But this was a high pressure situation, and the patient had been flagged as a Code Orange, which meant it was mildly serious. She stopped by the bed for a brief while. "Hey, you doing good?" She asked Simon, before checking the clipboard of the patient. The bone breaks and the ankle had been solved for already and it seemed he had just moved towards the head. "It's written that she might have a head concussion. We should check for possible bleeding as well. Check for signs of fluid in the hologram, it would appear a little whiter.." She would rather have Simon do it himself, and she could assist in case he needed it. "If there is bleeding, we will have to move her to surgery asap." She nodded, and waited for Simon to cast the spell so that they could look at the hologram together.

Claiming ORANGE #12: Rush Markowitz

 

Lieke only just got out of surgery when she saw the state her emergency room was in. She prided herself in a well structured emergency ward, but that was long gone. The room was crowded with healers and patients. There seemed to be a shortage of beds, healers, anything. To give herself some piece of mind, she first checked the files of all the patients that came in... and the ones sent to the morgue. She was relieved Anastas hadn't been brought in. He must've gotten out safely. She took a deep breath to regain her focus and get back to helping all those people. "I got him JC." She said and nodded to the head of the Potions and Plants ward. "How bad is it out there?" She asked before she turned to the patient. It was always a huge risk if people lost their consciousness, but at least the boy was already back on his feet. "Just relax." Lieke whispered softly when the boy tried to move. "We're going to do everything we can. The nurses will make sure your dad will know." She assured him as she got him to a bed and started to clean his hand to administer an IV. "My name Healer Lieke Maes. I'm head of Emergency Care. Can you tell me your name please?" She asked while adding some mild painkillers and a blood replenishing potion to his IV. 

[Luca Moretto]

He was trying to get Ryan to smile when he heard an all to familiar voice. He looked up and seen his sister there. He sat up and looked her over. "Maja are you two okay!" He said as he looked over to the guy there and gave him a nod. As long as someone was there with her, Luca would be okay. However, he did want to go over to her to make sure she was okay. No matter how off they had been. He never wanted his sister to be hurt. "Is anyone else here?" He hadn't really knew that Maja was going to be here. Though with everything that happened between him and Colleen he was stuck on making sure that him and Ryan had a good time. 

 

He didn't have time to hear her answer back to him when the healer came to him. He let out a sigh. Ryan was going to be okay. Honestly that was all he wanted to hear. However, Luca wasn't at the moment. He had been sitting in a real funny way. He didn't want to put pressure on that hip at all. Hearing the man tell him it was going to hurt still didn't register that it was going to hurt this bad. Luca let out a scream and he would have sworn that he had seen black stars in his vision, but soon the pain stopped and it didn't hurt as bad as it normally did. He was able to bring his attention back to the healer when the man placed a hand on his shoulder. "Thanks mate!" He said with a small sigh. He turned to his son and patted the bed side telling him to climb up.

Rush wasn't sure if there was anyone beside him or not, honestly. But since he was in a chaotic place, he was pretty sure that someone would be listening. And if they weren't, too bad for him. He might just die here not being heard. Pretty soon though, he heard a female voice near him, asking him to relax, which actually caused to be alert even more. Who were these people, was something bad happening. There were talks of nurses and the person introduced herself as the head of Emergency Care. Rush tried moving his head in the general direction of where he could hear the lady's voice, and saw a blurred blob of what seemed to be a person moving around his bed. "Is everything fine? Am I dying?..I can't move my arms and legs. It's like.. I try..but I can't." He spoke ahead, without telling his name. Because he was legit panicked at the point. He was surrounded by unknown people, in an unknown place, and he had no idea what was happening to him. "Rush...Nathan Russell Markowitz. My dad is Leander Markowitz...Will you be able to find him? He is somewhere in Russia.." He had to mention his full name because that is how he was mentioned in all his medical records, and honestly mentioning his full name sounded worse in his head. His father used it on him only during serious conditions; like when he had done something too wrong. The pain in his head had lessened considerably and he was assuming it was because of the thing that was plugged to his arm. Funny, he hadn't even felt it much because of the rest of the pain.

Bringing in RED #8: Nienor Riverwinds

Arriving in the Emergency ward of St. Mungo's, Marthine announced to the emergency staff. "Maternity healers please! For urgent assistance." The emergency room was in total chaos. She didn't know how extreme the situation they're in until she arrived there. When a maternity healer approached, Marthine stepped aside to let them take over the pregnant woman. "She's conscious but might be suffering for mild concussion due to fall. And the baby has low fetal heart rate. I'm also suspecting a trauma on her lower back abdomen. I haven't administered her anything because the potions might affect the unborn. Her husband is still on site so I'll get back to him ASAP." With that, Marthine immediately disapparated from the site.

There was this weird scene where Leslie (his brother) was going to get popcorn and told him to not be afraid. Becks turned to Sherlock, who was dressed like a lobster and screaming for a quaffle to be passed. A lot of lobster people there. And suddenly, Leslie vanished in a lot of smoke just as an explosion happened. 

 

Becks woke up in he triage room. He coughed a couple of times and looked around in panic... the smell of a hospital and of blood and of people hurt replaced the smell of rubble and fire. He turned around as he was being carried on the stretcher, and he could see the people around him.... but again, all he could hear was a whistle. No sounds. All that chaos and all the panic and all Beckett could hear was a deep, painful whistle. So he was scared, he was in pain and panicked, adrenaline kicking in to tell his body to survive. Suddenly he was at the hands of another healer (Healer Varun Kapur) and he said something but Becks couldn't understand him. Next thing he knew there was a lot of pain. Becks screamed, because he was twelve and he was scared out of his mind and because it hurt damn it! Soon the pain lowered itself but he still had bruises and scratches, and he was still in pain. 

 

He wanted his mom... he looked around trying to see if his brother was there, if his friends were there... He started to cry. He wanted his mom!

Bringing in ORANGE #7 Dylan Eklund

First Aid: Mended his broken arm

 

Addie reappeared at St. Mungo's once more, this time with a new patient. Unfortunately, this one was also someone she knew, but thankfully, Dylan was in far better shape that Jin had been. She was far more confident that he'd make it out of this just fine. She just wanted to make sure there wasn't any additional damage to his head, seeing as he's lost consciousness. "I've got another patient here!" she called out. "I've fixed his broken arm, but he still needs some follow-up. I did a scan, and there were no traces of any internal bleeding or injury, but he's been in and out of consciousness. More so the latter than the former." Hopefully the Healers would be able to affirm that he'd just passed out from the pain of having his arm crushed. Head injuries could be tricky, and if he had one, it might be he'd be on the mend for a little while. She gave a small reassuring smile down at her unconscious friend before passing him off to the next available Healer.

Bringing in ORANGE #15: Sherlock Thorns

First Aid: Blood-Replenishing Potion, Knotgrass Potion for the Head Wounds, and compresses for ribs

 

Lilia rushed into the triage and laid Sherlock on a spare bed. Staring anxiously at his unconscious face, Lilia prayed that she had gotten here in time for the potion to do some good. It was a lot of blood he had lost. Thankfully, the wounds on his forehead were healing nicely and the bleeding had stopped. "Can I please get a healer over here quickly with some Blood-Replenishing Potion? This boy doesn't have too much time left!" Anxiously, she scanned the room for any available healer, but many were busy with moaning patients. Lilia paced restlessly, but knew she needed to get back to the stands. There were so many other people who were injured. "Also, Sherlock needs someone to set his ribs!" She bit her lip, then made the decision to leave for someone else could look after him. There wasn't much time she could spare to save others.

[Healer Ailsa Keating]

Bringing in ORANGE #20 Imogen Brimstone

 

Though Ailsa arrived with the small girl sans stretcher, she helps the girl into a chair upon arrival. Unfortunately the girl would most likely have to wait as they had worse injuries coming in. Rather than calling out for immediate help, she heads for their nurses station to rattle off her report. Female child, treated a dislocated shoulder on site. It's currently splinted and bandaged, but she could use another look at it. Ribs are bruised, with possible breaks. I've put her in that chair over there. Mother is still on site but might show up. She tells the nurse and gestures with her head to the corner chair that holds the little girl. It's probably a rather harsh and abrupt drop off, but they don't have time to mess around with formalities and niceties. She could apologize for her "rude" tone later, thanks. Ailsa stays around to answer any questions the staff might have before apparating off.
