Gabe's grin widened when he realized Liam seemed pretty enthusiastic about Defense Against the Dark Arts, which was all he needed. If he was only allowed to pick a handful of classes, that would definitely be one of his first choices, as well as Flying and Charms. On the topic of the Dark Arts, Gabe took the opportunity to brag about his family, as he so often did, though he forgot that Liam might not even know what he was talking about. "You know," he started, trying to play it cool. "My mom's an Auror. A really good one, too. I've seen her take down a Dark Wizard." He, of course, was lying. He actually had seen his parents duke it out with a particularly frightening wizard once, but the man ended up getting away. Gabe conveniently left out that part of the story.

He was beginning to like this kid more and more, finding that he wasn't your average studious Ravenclaw. Seemingly out of nowhere, Liam asked Gabe if he'd found any secret passages around. "Well, they wouldn't be very secret if I just went around telling everyone about them, now would they?" He laughed, though truth be told, he hadn't actually found any. Yet. After a moment more, he admitted, "Okay, well I've only really found one, and it's not even that secret. It just takes you from the seventh floor to the sixth floor bathrooms. Saves me some time here and there." Now that he thought about it, he wondered if the passage was even meant to be hidden, or if it was just common knowledge. He shrugged, truly not caring too much.

Liam didn’t really know what an Auror was, at least not before Gabe mentioned his mother taking down a Dark Wizard. Now, that alone seemed way too cool, but when the boy then added he’d actually seen that happen… Liam was speechless. It all reminded him of his own father, who worked as an Police Officer in their home town, Kenmare… but Liam had never seen his father arrest anyone. “What about your father, then?” he asked, only now realizing that he really didn’t know anything about the possible careers here in the magical world. Maybe he should talk to a professor, or perhaps another staff member about it?

Gabe answered Liam’s question by simply telling him it would no longer be a secret if he would go around and tell everyone about it, then laughing at his good joke for a bit. Liam raised his eyebrows and let out an almost soundless sigh. In the end, Gabe did tell him about the passage in between the seventh floor and the bathrooms in the sixth floor. That would definitely benefit those in Gryffindor house! Ravenclaws would have to climb down hundreds of stairs just to go and do your thing… and then climb the same stairs to the other direction! It could be annoying, especially if you were in a hurry “Another not-so-secret passage would be the kitchens entrance!”

If Gabe wasn't so self-centered, he would've asked Liam about his own parents, and that certainly would have cleared up any questions he had about whether the boy was raised by muggles or not. However, he inquired about Gabe's father, and there was no way he was going to sacrifice the spotlight when he could be bragging about his favorite human in all of existence. "My dad?" he started casually, trying to sound like it was no big deal, but his excitement was clearly present. "Oh, he's a professional Quidditch player in Norway; that's where I'm from. He's a Chaser for the Oslo Ospreys. He's really good." He grinned, and as always, assumed that his father, Matthew Anderson, was a common household name. It would definitely shock him if anyone who followed Quidditch didn't know about his dad.

His attention shifted quickly, however, when Liam brought up the entrance to the kitchens. Gabe raised his eyebrows curiously. He'd been exploring the castle for two months now. How had Liam figured out how to get into the kitchens before he did? "You know where the entrance to the kitchens is?" he asked in astonishment, impressed with the boy's explorative nature. Well, what did he expect? Leave it to a Ravenclaw to figure out the ins and outs of the castle before anyone else. "You have to show me," he insisted, wondering if Liam was up for a bit of an adventure. As if on cue, Gabe's stomach rumbled.

Liam wasn’t completely sure about what quidditch was, even though he’d heard other students talking about it. He knew it was a sport of some sort, he knew players were on their brooms so the game would probably happen in the air. Perhaps it was something similar to football? Or basketball? He didn’t dare to ask Gabe about it, as he didn’t feel like  being laughed at once again. Instead, he grinned widely and flashed his new friend a wide grin. “Now, that is awesome!” he sighed, trying to imagine what would it be like. Could Gabe’s family even walk on the streets without fans asking for autographs?

Liam was kind of surprised to realize that Gabe didn’t know where the entrance to the kitchens was hidden. He’d learned it almost immediately after his arrival, when he’d heard an older student talking to a younger one. They were probably a mentor and their mentee. “Sure, I’ll show it you!” he smiled, thinking that everyone should know where the entrance was. Just in case.

As always, Gabe was filled with glee when Liam agreed that his dad, was in fact, awesome. That conversation could rest, however, as they had much more important things to be doing, like raiding the kitchens. "You will?" he asked excitedly, rubbing his hands together as he thought about their imminent feast. It was almost dinnertime, and he was positive the elves wouldn't appreciate their presence too much, but that wouldn't deter Gabe. Not when he was as hungry as he currently was, anyway.

Eager to see this 'secret entrance,' he grinned and said, "What are we waiting for?" and raced off toward the nearest staircase.

After visiting the library, Alex decided to catch up on his reading just outside the common room.  This was a way for him to read while waiting for his friends to come out.  Walking towards the couch that had an extension, which made it larger.  He threw himself on the huge couch and opened his book.  But, before he started reading he felt cramped on that particular part so he adjusted himself.  Once he was comfortable, he reopened his book.  As he was reading, he heard a group of girls giggling.  He moved his book to the side and noticed the girls inflating a balloon.  He smirked.  He could tell those girls were up to no good.  After, turning the page he noticed a Ravenclaw boy outstrip towards the common room but before he entered he hit the side door and rebounded.  Alex quickly closed his book and ran over to the boy.  With Alex's help, the boy stood up and thanked him before walking into the common room.  Alex decided to follow him to make sure he was alright.

Ravenclaw RPC #97 Have a reading-while-walking related incident

Alfie had spent the day outdoors, exploring the grounds and getting to know his surroundings. It was a little chilly but he ignored it because he hadn't had the opportunity to explore much. After a good while outside though, Alfie's allergies were starting to act up and he knew it was time to go inside. He wiped his red little nose and went inside to start the trek all the way up to the Ravenclaw common room.

It was a few weeks into the start of term so he had an idea of where it was. Getting lost wasn't an issue anymore. He pulled out a book from his bag and began reading it just cause Alfie liked the look of reading and walking. Being lost in his book, Alfie walked right past the Ravenclaw common room. It wasn't until a few steps later he realized what he had done. He thumped himself on the head before saying to himself, "Duhhh." and turned on his heel. Apparently Alfie really wasn't paying attention to his surroundings because as soon as he turned, he ran into a pillar that jutted out of the wall. His forehead smacked the hard surface which caused him to become a little dizzy. Alfie took a step back and dropped his book while rubbing his forehead with his hand as he squinted at the pillar. "Ouucchh..." he complained to himself before deciding to kick the pillar with his foot. "Stupid pillar!"

Scarlet was missing. The pygmy puff was not in her cage when Lana returned to the dorm this afternoon. She had been out practicing with her Quidditch team the whole afternoon. Hence why she couldn't bring Scarlet with her as usual. The girl been scouring the whole Gryffindor dorm and couldn't find the little creature anywhere. That made her think that somehow Scarlet had gotten out of their dorm. So Lana continues the search out of her common room. The girl has been half running as she passed the corridors. One after another to find her pygmy puff.

It was really bad when you didn't even know where to search. There were too many places in this school where that furball could hide. Without clear direction on where she should actually be looking, Lana just walked wherever her steps felt light to go. That's how the ginger got to the Ravenclaw tower. She had never been there before. Not even knowing that it was the Claws' common room nearby. Her eyebrows knotted in a deep concern as she fastened her eyes to the floor tiles, not wanting to miss a nook where Scarlet could be hiding. Not noticing there was actually a boy at the end of the corridor until she caught on him cursing at the pillar. If he had knocked his head on it, then Lana totally had missed it. She went to the boy and called, "Hey, did you see a pygmy puff around here?" Then as she stood facing him, Lana noticed the small bump on the boy's forehead that was glaring red. Switching her gaze to the pillar next to him, the redhead finally saw the connection between his shouting earlier and the bruise. "Wait, don't tell me that you just walked yourself into this pillar just now?" Half amused as she watches the boy's face.

((Sooo sorry for the wait!))

Well, that hurt. And Alfie really hated headaches. He might have to go visit the hospital wing or something seeing how hard he had ran into the pillar. He was still standing there when he heard a voice of a red headed girl ask about seeing a pygmy puff. Shaking his head he said, "Uhm, no. Sorry." He was a little busy walking into a solid object right in front of him. He was about to ask if she needed any help looking for it because Alfie really wanted to make friends with it being his first year at Hogwarts and all but then she spoke again and Alfie scoffed, "Psh, no. Of course not." he said trying to play it cool but Alfie Miller was horrible at 'Playing it cool'.

He attempted to lean against the pillar and continued, but the more he talked the worse he made it for himself, "Why would I walk into a pillar? I have two eyes and can clearly see right in front of me." He said. Alfie didn't really know what he was trying to accomplish here. He certainly wasn't trying to impress her because Alfie didn't have the need to impress people. But as he stood there, his little gig might have been up as he felt something wet on his forehead. Reaching up he felt to see what it was and as he brought his hand down to look, there was a small drop of blood on his fingers. So much for not running into the pillar. It was just a small scratch, and nothing really to be worried about but poor Alfie didn't like blood so this was terrifying to the boy. His eyes went wide and he looked at the girl, "Oh no... Am I dying?!" he said just waiting for his head to start gushing out blood and him to fall and die in a pool of red.

The boy's gruff as he denied it didn't fool her. Biting her inner cheek, stopping herself from outright laughing at his luck with the wall, "Riighhttt..." That was as good as if she just said it right into his face: nope, not buying it. Instead she settled with the muddle of dual meaning. Nodding her head even, putting her face into a serious look. "Two ears, one nose, a mouth too! Looks like you have everything equipped right on you. Unlike those waterbird that compel to go to the fountain whenever they see one nearby. Or a month to a flame nor you and that wall." Confusing much? Oh well, she tried.

Then he was bleeding... "What?" Lana didn't get what he was saying about dying all the sudden because she didn't see the blood. Not yet. Until there was a thin red line trailing down from his forehead. Then she saw what he meant. "I-is that blood on your face?" pointing at the boy, gasping. Lana somehow, despite her regular visit to the hospital wing, was squeamish of blood. She handled pain and broken bone okay but blood? Not really... So instead she was just frozen there, face pale as paper, finger still pointing at the boy. Yo-you're bleeding... Can't you stop the blood?" She felt a lump on her throat, some nausea too. Oh, this is bad. Please don't throw up, please don't, giving herself a pep talk.

"Huh?" he said quirking his brows and scratching the top of his head. Whatever the girl had just said flew completely over Alfie's head. He understood all of his classes, books, and most things, but this? He had no idea. Better to just let it go instead of ask her what she meant. Well, and Alfie was awkward so being in a situation like this had his mind babbling to himself, who knows what was running through his mind. Probably something more confusing than what she had said. "Haha, yeah." he said pretending like he understood, when in reality, he didn't.

Alfie's heart started beating and if felt like it was about to jump out of his chest. He wasn't ready for this! The poor boy hadn't even gotten to graduate school yet! Dying this young would just be unfair. "Yeah! I mean, I think so?!" he said starting to panic as he tried to think of what to do. Obviously it was blood, but then again Alfie didn't want to believe it. "Stop pointing at me!" he said using his other hand to wave it, so hopefully she'd catch on. He didn't need the extra stress of someone pointing at him while he was dying. "Er I don't know..." Alfie didn't dare touch his head again but he felt another little drip run down past his nose. "Why can't you stop it?! You're the one who can see it!" he asked her in a panic. Alfie wouldn't even know where to begin and on top of that he didn't do well in situations like this. He might just manage to make it worse

She was frozen, Lana didn't remember that she had her finger still pointing at the boy until he pointed it out back at her. Lana felt like she was watching a car accident right there. She wanted to turn around, she wanted to look elsewhere. Anywhere but the boy's face, but she can't. Her eyes like being glued to look at his face only. It was not helping either that the blood was not dripping to his nose. "Dear Merlin, oh no..." Hugging her stomach with her arms, Lana felt her legs were swaying beneath her. The boy who didn't seem to understand that she has a problem with blood asked her to stop the bleeding instead. Falling half step backward, the ginger shaking her heads violently. "I think I'm sick..." One hand clasping her mouth then, Lana was really worried that her stomach might belch any second then. "You, please do something, stop the bleeding...  Merlin..." Then everything went black for her. The ginger's body swayed backward and flopped to the floor like a heavy tool. Lana Tolmach just passed out.

He quirked his brows at her. Why was she not helping him? Alfie didn't know how much blood was going to come out but he surly didn't want anymore to come in order to find out. She was his only hope! But as she held her hands to her stomach, he started to get a hint. His eyes widened because if her body decided to let everything she had eaten recently come back up, there was going to be an even worse problem than just the blood. "Uhhh..." he said, unsure of what to say really as she said she was sick. Well it must have been Alfie's fault. If he hadn't have run into that stupid pillar in the first place! She insisted on him doing something about his own cut and Alfie started shaking his head, "But, but, but I-" he was getting ready to explain that blood too freaked him out when she fell to the ground.

Alfie froze for the second. He was not equipped to handle this situation properly! And of course there was no one else in this corridor to help. Panicking, he raced to the girl's side figuring he'd better help her before he figured out what to do about his problem. "Oh no, please wake up! Please wake up!" But he probably should have fixed his problem first because as he leaned over her a drop of blood landed on the side of her face. "Errrrr." he mentally slapped himself. This was the last thing she needed. "Actually, don't wake up quite yet..." he said knowing she couldn't hear him anyways but still, it made him feel better. Alfie took the sleeve of his robe and wiped his forehead and continued to hold his hand up there to cover it. And with his other hand, wiped the blood that had fallen on her face, "Oh gross..." he said as he cleaned it as well as swallowing hard in order to keep his food in his stomach. And it may sounded bad, but he hoped she didn't wake up until it was gone because it would only make this situation worse.

In her whole life history Lana Tolmach had never faint in her life. Then she came to Hogwarts and so far she had successfully fainted twice. One by accident caused by the crazy chomping willow but this second time was rather embarrassing. She faint at the scene of bloods. Probably none of her friends even know that the ginger has this sort of phobia of blood. She the one who's up for crazy things and was even one of the co-founders of the catastrophe squad secret club that play with dangers all the time could actually faint at mere scene of blood being spilled. Unfortunately, she was. The fact that she was lying unmoving there on the floor was the proof.

Lana didn't know how long she actually been gone. Could be just minutes or hours. She heard voices gurgling incomprehensible while she was in the dark, stirring uncomfortably she made noises. Then just as how she suddenly fainted that was how she suddenly awaken back. Her almond shape eyes fluttered opened, alert and she saw the boy's face quite close from her. She could some kind of soft material brushing her cheek but her brain couldn't quite comprehend yet what the boy was doing. "What's grossed?" asked Lana with breathy voice. Relieved washed her over seeing the boy kept one hand on his forehead to keep the blood away.

She tried to shove herself up using both her elbows as means to support her to a sitting position. Cringing as she looked the boy's face, "Ugh I think we should go to the hospital wing to fix your head." Lana's face still white as paper but not seeing more blood on his face was very helpful to make her feel better. She would suggested that they could also go to her friend Lee who has healing ability but Lana was not sure if Lee was up to let her ability for public knowledge yet. Moreover, probably easier to find the hospital wing rather than to find Lee. She meant the girl could be anywhere in this school right now.

He almost had it all off when she woke up. So Alfie didn't want to seem suspicious, he quickly pulled his hand away from her face. And when she asked what he said was gross Alfie cringed to himself and quickly replied, "Er, nothing..." He said awkwardly as he just stared at her. He scooted back a little to give her some space. As she sat up he squinted at her face wondering if any blood was still visible. He wouldn't mention the small streak of his blood still left on her cheek. Alfie tried not to look at it but it was hard not to. He didn't want her to get all paranoid but Alfie couldn't just leave it there. He had to act fast. She suggested they go to the hospital wing for his forehead but Alfie shook his head, "Oh don't mind me, I'll be fine!" he lied. Alfie couldn't stand that his forehead was bleeding. But he had to puhis plan in place. Aflie took a deep breath before saying, "But you! You're okay!" He really didn't want to do this cause girls had cooties and ew, but he didn't have a choice. Alfie awkwardly went in for a hug with his free arm, "I thought you would never wake up!" Though he knew she would wake up knowing she had only passed out from feeling sick. Aflie mentally shook his head at himself for acting so strangely but it was the only way.

He let the hug go on for a little while longer to make it seem like he was just so excited she was awake. Then leaning back he placed his hand on her cheek where the blood was, he started wiping it, hoping she would be too distracted to notice, "All that matters is you are conscious now, right?" he pulled his hand back hoping he had gotten it all. Alfie once again squinted at her cheek and ha! No more blood! Then looking back at the girl he smiled at her. She probably thought he was crazy.

The blackout she just had wasn't supposed to be too long but was it normal to feel a bit dizzy? Lana somehow having a hard time to focus on things, everything felt rather fuzzy for her. And why does the boy kept staring at her face? Was he worried that she might have faint again? That pushed out these words out from her mouth, "Sorry that I fainted out like that but-" Then before Lana could say more the boy had gone to give her a hug. That move caught her off guard. Believed Lana's mouth even hung slightly opened as she let the boy hugged her. As the hugging lingered, her first initial reaction had taken a side turn. She bought what the boy was selling that she had made him worried about her unconscious episode. And it made Lana felt a bit guilty for making him worried like that. Nodding her head to assure him, Lana smiled as she looked at the boy's face. "Don't worry I'm all good now." Pushing an extra bright smile as she tried to convince him. Until for the second time that day, he did something that shut her mouth again. Sensing the boy's fingers slowly caressing her face next, her eyes widened back again. And this time, she could only give him a nod as a reply to him. Words rather out of her grasp for the time being. Come to think of it, none other than her brothers or parents who probably ever touch her face. And he's a boy whom she just met! That made the ginger felt rather embarrassed for a different reason all the sudden. Until her eyes stumbled back on his forehead and saw the dried blood there.

"The blood..." She should have turned her face so she won't be seeing it, but like there's a magnet on it, she just couldn't look away. "Oh gosh! Why are you still bleeding?" Her voice quavering but the fuzziness immediately disappeared as she caught on the red fleck again on his forehead. That practically made her jump from her place, gave her something to do. Anything is better than seeing his bloody face. In a literal sense. "Let's go, we should go now!" They seriously had to go to the hospital wing like ASAP. "You will die if you continue to bleed like that!"

His cheeks were bright red. Alfie couldn't believe he had just done that. But it was all for the better cause, right? Ugh he could never face this girl again. He had pretty much completely forgot about his own head as he thought about it. That is until she brought it up again. Alfie quickly snapped back into motion. "Uh... Right!" He kept his hand covering it hoping she couldn't see because the last thing they need is for her to pass out again and have to live through that moment again. Alfie hopped up onto his feet and then held a hand out for her to help her up. And then she said something about him dying if he continued to bleed which sent him into hysterics. "Oh man I AM going to die!" Alfie started pacing, "What if we don't make it in time?! What if you pass out again? Or, or, what if I pass out this time." Alfie could hardly breathe with all these what if's going through his head. Ugh and the sleeve of his robe had a bunch of blood on it. He would have to wash this like fifty times!

"...Uh, hospital wing..." Alfie looked both ways. He still wasn't too good at finding his way around the castle so he looked at the girl hoping she had a good idea, "Which way again?" he asked trying to remain calm but on the inside he was still totally freaking out. What if he never got the chance to write to his mum again? Alfie needed to stop thinking but his mind was not going to stop that anytime soon until he got to a healer.

Claw RPC #69 - Look suspicious with Mathias Delevingne

Donny's start of his second year had been slightly better than his first. He guess he could say he had become acquainted with a few people, but he also had gone through some of the same trouble as in his first year. He had a few encounters with certain professors and prefects that hadn't been that great and he had come to a point were he didn't really care what anyone with authority thought of him... seriously, who even considered someone like Diana to become a prefect. Early on in the year he met a first year named Gideon, who asked him about ever having gone to the forbidden forest, which wasn't the case, but their conversation got Donny a little curious about getting to know the castle's secrets. He had heard about the school from his family members and even though he didn't like the school part, Donny figured to make the best out of his stay until he got the opportunity to study at Durmstang for a term. So he decided to wait until a Hogsmeade weekend -he noticed most higher year students were in bed relatively early after a day out in the town- and stayed up until he was quite certain the other students were in their dorms before sneaking out of the common room, very gently closing the door before looking around to make sure no one was still in the corridors.

Mathias twisted and turned in his bed after attempting to go to sleep early. Every day he told himself that he was going to be more disciplined, that he would follow through on his promise and do his best to go to bed early. After all, that way he could get a sufficient amount of sleep and wake up the next day fully refreshed, ready to impart in his school activities. But that wasn't the case. It hadn't been the case yesterday and it wasn't going to be the case today. He was restless. He wanted to do something fun. He had spent so much of his time being frustrated and sad about his sorting that he had forgotten that Hogwarts was also supposed to be fun. Plus, he had also developed an itch to cause trouble, to get into trouble, to see how clever he could be and push the limits until he got caught. Which is how Mathias found himself sneaking out of the common room, being extra careful to not make too much noise as he opened the main door and closed it behind him. He was almost successful, or so he thought. It took one step backwards before he stumbled upon something that was so unexpected that he let out a small gasp. Realizing his mistake, Mathias placed his hand over his mouth so as to not emit another sound. "What are you doing here?" He said as he looked at the boy standing outside the common room.

Hufflepuff RP Challenge: 122. Start a rumor

Tag: EX-BFF

The second she heard it, she tore out of the common room the only thing on her mind was how she was about to rip Alfie apart. How could he? He was her best friend! The very last person she could think of on this planet to start a rumor about her. She had goblin feet? Freaking GOBLIN FEET? Now what was she supposed to do? Rip off her shoes every time it looks like someone is talking about her? Walk barefoot around the castle? Man this freaking sucked. Her main question being, why? Why in merlins name did Alfie think it was ok to go off telling people that? Not that it was true, it wasn't! Where did he even come up with that?

She practically sprinted up the stairs, her body pumping full of adrenaline. She just wanted to get up to Alfie and figure out just what exactly was going on in his head. Of course, she did stop by the bathrooms to cry a little bit, since she couldn't hold it in for the duration of the journey. Plus, she wanted to clean herself up before she ended up confronting Alfie. Once she composed herself after the ugly cries, she sprinted out of the bathroom, continuing upwards to the Ravenclaw tower. She wasn't sure how she was going to get in there, since she didn't know the password. Maybe she'd convince some Ravenclaw outside to let her into their common room so she could freaking attack Alfie. She finally made it up there, and of course, the door was closed to the common room. And she didn't see any claw students she could threaten into letting her in. So instead her rage consumed her and she started banging on the door as hard as she could with both fists. "HEY! MILLER! COME OUT AND FACE ME YOU TRAITOR!" Mykie screamed against the door.
