[Kyle Archer]

[First-Ever Chocolate Frog Card]

 

So, Kyle rummaged through the small bag and drew something out randomly. It was a purple-coloured pentagonal box which he spent a few moments examining. He gave it an experimental shake and then undid its latches—and a chocolate frog promptly leapt out! "Oh shoot," he muttered, "come back!" Then a card also slipped from the odd-shaped package. He picked it up and looked it over. "Merlin," he read, then shrugged. Kyle was reminded then, of his mother and the stories surrounding the mythical figure. He can't help but also recall a couple of memories in Camp Avalon. Ironic, really, that that ends up being his very first chocolate frog card.

Niccolo and Kyle toured the train - as much as they could, anyway. There are loads of students around, they had to squeeze in between bodies just so they could pass the hallway but all in all, their tour had been quite good. They discovered the Professor and Prefect compartments. They have huge spaces! Meanwhile, their compartment can house only a couple students but theirs can occupy maybe more than 10 students. There's a storage compartment at the back and the candy trolley! He's been eyeing the chocolate frogs but he was reminded by her Mom's words again. Do not spend all his money on sweets, so he'll hunt down the trolley later. For now, the two went back to the compartment then Kyle offered a bag of sweets he bought from the trolley earlier. See? Not yet the right time to buy his own snacks. "Thanks, mate!" He grabbed a piece of choclate frog cause he can't help it. "I'll buy some later and then we can share them, too." Tit for tat, right? He was about to open the blue box when there's a knock on the window of the door. Niccolo's gaze landed on RJ's mom and he blinked. "Hello, Mrs. Smith." He greeted with a confused smile. Um, he didn't know parents can board the train. From the corner of his eyes however, he spotted a leaping frog. "They can only jump once then that's it, correct?"

Since the other compartments have been filling up, she was glad that Ari came across the twig boys. Sam still gets very amused whenever the name twig boys crosses her mind. It's just adorable, although she couldn't say the same thing about the four. They're definitely not adorable. Taking a seat, she positioned her bag on seat beside her and looked up when Kyle and Niccolo got back. The former offered some sweets and she smiled. "Thanks." She grabbed herself two candies, unwrapped one and popped it in her mouth. Soon after, a pretty woman knocked on the glass of the compartment and for a second there, she thought she would go ahead and say 'I brought snacks!'. Well, don't blame her. Her mind is on a snack-everywhere territory, okay? Also, the woman seemed to be acquainted with Raph - could they be related? Kyle's chocolate frog jumped, then Niccolo said that they can only jump once. Her eyebrows quirked in curiosity and gave them a look, waiting to hear more about that.

RPC: Draw something on the glass

 

Raijin almost smile at the part he’s reading but he was suddenly distracted with the opening of the carriage door. Without even looking he knew it’s his twin sister Amina, so he didn’t even bother. Although her comment about reading a book again forced him to look at her with a raised brow, “What did my books ever do to you?” He shifted on his seat to give her some space when she took her place, "And what's more interesting than reading a book anyway?" He gazed out the window when Amina exclaimed seeing their youngest sibling there. The young boy ran away from their father and went  to where he can easily see him and Amina. He felt so bad leaving him again, both of them played a lot during the summer break although he wasn’t able to give him attention when they went to HongKong. There were personal things he needed to attend to with the elders while Ronin attended his summer class at home. It's the boy's first time to experience the home schooling he and Amina did before. The only difference was, Ronin enjoyed it while him and Amina hated it. Good for him. Raijin waved at him too, he breathed to the glass window and drew a smiley face on the glass to somehow tell his younger brother to smile. Another presence in the room immediately alerted Raijin. He looked at Amina and then to the guy who’s obviously staring at his sister. Clearing his throat, he nudged Amina, “Why don’t you shut up for a minute because we have company now.” He motioned to the guy (Joon).

RPC: Game of Cards

 

The train started to move, Amina gave his younger brother one last wave and a flying kiss. “Poor boy, dad would have to deal with his tantrums.” She laughed softly, knowing it’s not going to be easy for their dad to calm Ronin. Hearing Raijin’s stupid question, Amina mock-glared at him, “Do you really have to ask? Here I am, stuck with you in this carriage, while you’re enjoying your own little world!” She huffed and crossed her arms over her chest. “I don’t know, any game of cards, like probably exploding snap? Or or…wizards chess perhaps? Anything! Just not the one which involve books! Come on Raijin, when we reached school, we’ll be dealing with books too! How do you even manage that? It's booooring! Dealing with them usually sucks my ener---” She was cut off by his brother to alert her of a new occupant (Joon) in the carriage. Amina shut her lips and studied the guy curiously. She’s seen him before. She will never forget a guy whom she’d spent her breakfast with looking like he’d brought his nightmare to life. With his messy hair and puffy eyes, and how slow he ate his breakfast, it’s a miracle she didn’t gag in that moment. Amina raised an eyebrow at him when she noticed he’s openly staring at her. "What?"

[Throw an Impromptu Party]

 

Kyle generously shared his 'candy loot' with the rest. Niccolo and Sammie were the ones who got first dibs and he nodded in response at their expressions of gratitude. "No worries—that's what friends are for," said him. Niccolo even declared that he will buy sweets that they can share later as well. Kyle can't help but grin at that as he unwrapped his chocolate frog… only to watch it hop out. Niccolo was saying something as he was extracting the card from within it. "Oh… really?" he asked. Kyle didn't even know chocolate frogs can move—let alone how many times precisely it can hop around. He's not too sure he wants it anymore, not after it went god-knows-where. Kyle rummaged through the small bag a little more, realising only now that he'd bought quite a lot. He can't help but wince, merely guessing at how much he's spent, but he'd tried to not get caught up on that. "You know," he said, "we can practically make a cake of candy from all these and have ourselves a makeshift party! – even though it's not my birthday." Kyle laughed as he'd drawn out a handful of wrapped little packages and threw it up in the air like it was confetti.

Ashley was as the usual sent to Hogwarts. 2 more terms to try and cope up with all this studying magic. Being a half blood and your parents pushing you to be a witch when you just want to be a model in the big world of New York. They won't just let you live with it. She put her luggage on the baggage area. She looked for a compartment that was not that full but all of them were full of people. Gosh, she opened one compartment and saw Amina was there. She looked and said, "Amina, hey. Glad to see you here. Mind if I join you? Lets just say I don't know still much people" Her being so choosy of people she talk to makes her moments mostly by herself. She has her small Gucci bag that only contains her wand and powder.

RPC: Wave goodbye

 

When Izzy got separated from her brother, she started looking around for a cabin. She would've stayed with Jace but he's probably with his friends and she doesn't want to feel out of place since she's the youngest among them. Giving a one last glance at her family, she waved her hand to bid her goodbye, her eyes watered a little. Walking along the hallway, she checked each cabin through the glass window and spotted familiar boys. Even though her father had warned about boys and everything, Izzy thought there's nothing wrong with being friends with them. They're idjits but they're nice boys after all. Sliding the door open, she waved and grinned at Niccolo, Lee and RJ, her classmates from the elementary school. "Hey guys!" She saw other kids with them, Izzy also smiled at the girls and a boy (Ariadne, Samantha and Kyle). "Hello! My name is Izzy Ryuu!"

RPC: Tour the train.

 

At this point, Raph was still baffled by the fact that his friends still kept pointing out that he was being loud. It’s as if they’ve never seen him in his element. Raph has always been loud and you know that there’s something wrong when he shuts up. You don’t ever want him to shut up. Because that will be bad. Niccolo finally caught up to him and after that handshake, Kyle arrived but went right back out of the compartment because apparently, he needed to have a tour of the train. What else could there be? It’s a train. A train that transports students to school. ­"A tour? What is this, a first class train or something?" Again, Raph never claimed to be knowledgeable about trains or anything about them, but he’s quite sure that the most interesting thing about this train would be the loo. Harper caught up with them too and asked where Kyle was going just in time for Niccolo to bolt and follow Kyle. ­"He wants a tour of the train. And apparently, Niccolo too." Raph shrugged. That was when the girls from camp arrived. Ariadne pretended to be the conductor and asked for their tickets before asking if she can join them since everywhere else was full, apparently. Raph shrugged and let them into the compartment. It was peaceful for a while.

 

Things went crazy all of a sudden when his mother’s face showed up on the other side of the door. Raph was confused for a few seconds because he was quite sure that he had left his parents on the platform just a couple of minutes ago. ­"Mom?" What is she doing here? He opened the compartment door to hiss at his mother who was beaming at him like a psychopath. ­"Mum! You are not supposed to be here. " He was totally oblivious of the commotion that was going inside the compartment when Niccolo and Kyle came back with a bunch of sweets. ­"Get off the train before it leaves!" He should probably feel bad about kicking his mother off the train but she wasn’t supposed to be here!

[Hang out with your friends] 

 

Marley had been a little late to the train, but it was all Chloe's fault. In Marley's opinion, that is. It had taken ages to get her cat into her crate, the cat probably senses they were moving and they weren't coming back anytime soon. When she got to the platform, the train was already there, so Marley rushed inside, no time left to go find her friends before the train departed. The train was even more crowded than she imagined. Carrying Chloe's crate, in which the cat was sleeping soundly, she roamed the train trying to find a sign of Sammie, Aina and Ari. Finally they were going to find out their Hogwarts houses! It had taken a while, Marley had found many occupied compartments, but eventually, she finally reached the carriage her friends were sitting in. "GIRLS!" Marley exclaimed, putting down Chloe's crate and instantly hugged Ari and Sammie, before looking at the boys with a large grin on her face. "You four again?" She asked in amusement as the two friend groups had run into each other before, she then sat down next to Sammie. She then noticed there was another girl (Maxine) with them, one she didn't recognise from camp. "Hey there! I'm Marley."

[Sugar overload]

 

Sammie's sitting there, wondering where Aina and Marbs are. The train would leave in a few minutes and she hates the thought of leaving them behind. They wouldn't miss this for the world, right? There's no way! Her attention snapped to Kyle once again, he's saying about making a cake of candy and having a makeshift party, then proceeded to threw something up in the air. Her eyes danced in amusement, Sam had never seen Kyle act like this, even back at the camp. He'd always been... well, so put-together. If anything, she expected this behaviour from RJ. "You okay there, Kyle? Are you riding a sugar high or something?" 

 

Before she could say anything else, the woman outside their compartment is apparently RJ's mom and she quirked her eyebrows. So parents are allowed onboard? Her eyes landed on another girl (Maxine) who seemed to know the twig boys and introduced herself as Izzy Ryuu. "Hi, Izzy." She greeted with a wave and soon after, Marbs' finally showed up. "Finally!" She hugged her back and nudged once she's seated. "What took you so long?"

RPC: Sit on someone's lap...
 
From the time he started noticing girls, Joon has been prone to infatuation since then. How many times he has fallen in love at first sight? He and writer have lost count. The boy has never done a big move to make those girls notice him, though. 'Cause he greatly sucked at flirting and his minor attempts in the past only put him in an awkward and embarrassing situations. He could've asked his father for a piece of advice but the man hadn't dated anyone after his divorce with Joon's mom..so nah, abeoji can't help him either. The pretty girl finally noticed him, thanks to her companion. Perhaps her brother? Joon smiled and waved at her way, paying no attention to the fact that she just snapped at him. He completely understood what she have felt. He wouldn't like it when someone's interrupted him when he speaks, either. "Uh..Hi! We met at the camp. Breakfast? Uhm.." He realized it he shouldn't be bringing up the breakfast scene for he looked hideous that moment but again, it's too late. When another girl (Ashley) came and joined the pretty girl, he finally learned that her name was Amina. Even her name sounds pretty too, he thought. "My name is Joon Park. Just saying. uhm..for your reference?" Joon was really good at introductions, no?

 

The frozen train engine finally kicked into motion. As the train doors closed, Joon wondered if his sister has found a comfortable cabin. Apparently, she didn't like sharing a cabin with him because he would only embarrass her. As if! Joon always behaves himself. He's just...not that very graceful. That's his eternal problem. Minutes after the train had left the King's Cross station, everything seemed peaceful. Joon realized he had so many sweets and candies with him. Opening a chocolate frog, the thing immediately leaped from its container and attached itself on the glass window. The boy stood and rose from his seat to catch the chocolate frog at large as he didn't want to waste money. The chocolate frog seemed to have quit from moving and Joon grabbed it too easily. Would he eat it? Yes, the 5 seconds rule was still applicable. However, he was not informed that the would make a sharp turn that time, causing Joon to lose his balance and fell backwards. He didn't tumble on the train floor though, his bottom has landed on something rather soft and comfy. Like a cushion. Right, he might have fallen down on the seat on the other side. See? He's not that clumsy at all. For a moment, he felt relieved until craned his neck a little to the side and realized he was sitting on a person. He's sitting on Amina's lap.

 

All right, let's take that back. Joon's the clumsiest of all the klutz.

RPC: Sit on someone's lap

 

“I remember you…” Amina said, raising an eyebrow while eyeing the boy, at least he looked much better now compared to the first time she encountered him by the breakfast table. Way to remind her of that day, she had a hard time shallowing her food. She would have snubbed and abandoned him that time, but Amina was taught with good manners and right conduct so even how she hated the situation she was in, she finished her food and left as soon as she’s done. She didn’t even check his reaction when she said goodbye. Although the introduction was unnecessary, in some way, Amina appreciated the guy’s effort. “Amina.” She said as she frowned a bit, but not wanting to be rude again. 

 

Ashley’s arrival diverted Amina’s attention to her, “Ashley! It’s so nice to see you again. Of course, please join us.” She motioned to her brother, “This is my twin brother, Raijin, Raijin this is Ashley, a friend of mine… And…” her smile weakened as she turned to the other guy again, “He’s…. Joon, for your reference.” She was busy talking to her friend that she didn’t notice right away when Joon stood up to catch the chocolate frog. The next thing she knew, something fell on her lap so hard that it left her gasping for breath. Her initial reaction was holding the thing, which she thought was a luggage or a bag, but she thought wrong because the thing she’s holding was a person, and not just any person, it was Joon! And she was holding his shoulder! Amina gasped once again, too shock to even move a muscle, the boy is sitting on her lap! Why did he have to land on her lap, why not on someone else's lap! Amina was too stunned to react and do anything! For sure her cheeks were as red as tomato and her eyes were as big as saucers and her temper…her temper is as chaotic as a raging storm…

RPC: Be clingy

The chain of events seemed to have recklessly unfolded and Joon cannot reverse what he had started. Though for the record, that moment, he realized sitting on a girl felt unexpectedly nice. Did he like it? Of course! This was Amina, someone whom he was smitten with. If it were him, he would like to be clingy and stay a little longer then would just face the consequences later. But he’s also completely aware that girls can be thoroughly scary when enraged. He didn’t want to know how frightening can she be. Cheeks flushed, the Gryffindor lad rose abruptly. Okay, scratch that. He could feel her temper boiling up in her already from where he was standing. Amina  looked like she was a bomb about to explode soon and Joon felt panic and fear creeping up under his skin to his neck. What if he pretends to be possessed? He’s a bad actor though. Or just act like it didn’t happen? But everyone has seen it. He sat on her. They probably saw in his face that he somehow enjoyed it. “Okay, listen…I..I’m sorry…Please don’t hurt me okay...?” He wanted to assure her that everything was a misunderstanding. An accident, and he didn't mean to violate her personal space but he's already shaking in his shoes now that he can't mumble the right words.

Ashley was at least glad that Amina agreed for her to join them. Amina introduced her to her Brother Raijin. Oh yeah, she remembers him. There was a girl in a class in Summer that throw up at him. She may be not that talking to people but honestly, she was paying attention in what was happening in her surroundings. Then there is another boy named Joon that she introduced. She then looked at Raijin, "Nice to meet you. " She then looked at Joon and also replied, "Nice to meet you too" She sat comfortably on the compartment. She noticed that Amina and that Joon seems to be having their moment. Ashley is not the person who really will think much. Amina is her friend but she doesn't understand these people blushing and all. She just sighed and put on her shades that are LV as she is not a talker if its not about Skin care, fashion trends and anything about looks.

[Whatever it is, it's Chloe's fault]

 

Marley rolled her eyes when Sammie asked her why it had taken her so long to find the carriage all her friends were in. "I was a bit late." Marley said and opened Chloe's crate, carefully placing her cat on her lap so she could also meet Marley's new friends, as Chloe didn't get a chance to meet them at camp. "This is Chloe, and whatever happened, it's all Chloe's fault." Marley said playfully and petted the cat's back, who curiously looked up at Sammie. "She didn't want to get into her crate and kept hiding from me this morning. But I could never leave without her." She explained. Chloe had been her very bestest friend, until Sammie came along of course, now Chloe was her very best feline friend. "Don't you know how many carriages I had to check before I finally found you?!" Marley added playfully before leaning into her best friend. ​"I'm relieved I found you though." She really didn't want to sit by herself with a bunch of older students she didn't know. That was just gonna be unnecessary scary.

RPC: Read a book

 

Izzy took notice that everyone seemed to know each other already, and realized it was probably because all of them had attended the summer camp except her. She suddenly felt out of place and somehow bitter because she would've also gone to the camp but she missed the last call for the enrollment. This was all her Daddy's fault. Leaning her back against the seat, she folded her arms across her torso and glanced through the glass window to sulk. But then she realized, her summer was great too. She learned how to bake the perfect cookies with Mom, played by the beach with her friends and have bonded with Jace. Even though it was not as fun as they had in the camp, it still was the perfect summer for her. So while waiting for the train to start moving, Izzy pulled out a book, The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants and opened the page where she had bookmarked it.

RPC: Candy from the Trolley

 

Caiofe has been looking around for the trolley. She was also looking for Raijin because, why not? Right now, her mission is to find some sweets and drown herself in it. She had put all her stuff at the back of the train save from a small body bag that she can’t leave unattended. It was mostly personal things so nothing interesting really. She was looking into every compartment to find what she was looking for while keeping an eye out for the trolley lady. She’s supposed to be here somewhere. She wants candy from the trolley! When she opened the door to one of the compartments, she finally found someone she was looking for all over the place. Her face broke into a smile but she had heard the faint voice of the nice lady who rolls the candy trolley around. "Give me a sec," she raised her index finger that was the universal sign for just a second before disappearing after the Candy trolley.

RPC: Climb the overhead luggage rack

 

Raph was still horrified. At the sudden appearance of his mother in the train. What was she doing in that place when she was not allowed? He can’t see anyone else’s parents loitering the corridor of the train except his. How did his mother managed to get through train security? How about the conductor? His mom most definitely doesn’t look like she would pass as a student. His mom is pretty but you know that she’s already a mom somehow. Anyways, he slipped out the door and pushed him mom towards the nearest exit while she was laughing and trying to fuss over him like he was still a baby. ­"I’ll be fine mom. I survived camp. I’ll survive a train ride to Hogwarts. Bye!" With a last push, he made Cassandra Smith get off the train. He saw his father outside with a grin on his face that gave Raph some trust issues. Ralph Sr. never smiles like that unless he knows something that nobody else does. That made him even more nervous. What are the Smiths up to? ­"I’ll write as soon as I get settled in my dorm. Love you both!" He called out to his parents before running back to the compartment he shared with his friends.

 

Looks like someone else joined them and it was their old classmate from the kiddie school, Izzy. ­"My parents are unbelievable. I was able to get my mum off the train. What was she thinking?" he told the boys as he settled into his seat. ­"My parents sometimes makes me want to just crawl up to the luggage rack, get into a bag and just hide there until this is all done." He just wants to hide sometimes. Even Marley had arrived and joined Sammie and Ariadne. Why do they always find themselves in the company of these girls? Marley even has a cat with her.

RPC: First ever chocolate frog card

 

Ariadne was surprised when arms went around her waist. She flinched at the sudden contact and then realized that it was just Sammie. “You startled me!” she commented. She sneaked up on her like a shadow and it really startled her. She was about to comment on what Sammie said about the four boys not being together was weird. She has the exact same thought. Kyle arrived and offered them a bag of sweets so obviously, she reached inside and grabbed the first thing that her hand touched. It was a chocolate frog, according to the label. Niccolo was there too, and then a lady that was apparently, Raph’s mother. Are parents allowed on the train? If it was, then how come only Mrs. Smith was the only one aware of it? She settled on a chair and looked at the box of chocolate frog in her hand. Kyle went ahead and opened his but she was startled when something jumped out of it. “Is that an actual frog?” She doesn’t know what to say. She is used to frogs at the farm but if what she was holding in her hands was a box with a frog in it, then she will pass. She can’t eat frogs. But then, the frogs are actually chocolate charmed to act like frogs. Why?

 

Another girl arrived and said that her name was Izzy. “Hi Izzy! I’m Ariadne and this is Sammie.” she introduced her friend and then pointed at the boys one by one. “And that’s Lee, Kyle, Niccolo and Raph. We call them twig boys though, because of camp.” Yes, Ariadne is still bossy. She decided she should just get it over with when it comes to the treat that she was holding. She opened the box carefully and inside was a wiggling chocolate frog. She picked it up gingerly and looked at it closely. “And we are supposed to eat it like this? While it’s moving?” It was clearly disturbing but if that is how it was intended to be eaten, then so be it. She opened her mouth and put the whole piece of chocolate it. The frog was not moving anymore when her lips closed over it. While chewing, she picked up the card from the box. Her first ever chocolate frog card! She turned the card over and saw that it was Circe.  Marley also arrived! She has her pet cat Chloe with her too. Ariadne struggled to swallow the chocolate that she was just eating but when she was able to do it, she grinned at Marley. “I’m so glad you found us!” She looked at the cat on Marley’s lap and scratched the back of its ear. “Hello Chloe,” It was funny that Marley was blaming the cat for making her a little bit late. It also makes sense, since cats are known to be a little…full of themselves.
