IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT:

With the current student handbook being revised, the guidelines for signatures has been changed. Please review the following and make yourself aware of the new changes. The most important details, as an artist association member, you will need to know are highlighted in bold.

 

- You may have only two banners showing in your signature: your main character banner, and a pride or ability banner/button. Any other graphics you want in your signature should be linked.
- You may have up to four (4) lines of text.
- You may only have one (1) gif (animated image) in your sig.
- Professors may have one row of class buttons.
- Your entire signature should not exceed 600 width x 400 height.

!!ATTENTION ALL HOGWARTS ONLINE MEMBERS!!

 

In recent months a problem of lack of gratitude and common courtesy has been accruing by those who are requesting art from our graphic artists. I ask that you please remember that this area is a privileged made available to you, by talented people who are willing to donate their time to provide something special for you. Graphics are NOT a quick and easy thing, much time and dedication goes into each and every piece that an artists makes. Every AA member does have a life in the 'Real World' and we all have our problems, good and bad, yet these beautiful people have made the decision to set aside some of their precious time for the entire site to have the opportunity to get something pretty for their characters. All that is asked is that you please show them the kindness, the gratitude and the common courtesy to AT LEAST post a simple thank you upon pick-up. It doesn't have to be anything in depth and it only takes up a few seconds of your time. Not doing so is rude and is offensive to the artist who worked hard to make something for you. It takes all the excitement and fun out of doing it, if we don't even get a reaction of our hard work. Think of how you want to be treated, no one wants deal with someone ungrateful. If this issue persists, I will be forced to take matters further. I will warn you that the last 'major time' this was a problem, the whole Artists Association was closed for a brief time. That was years ago, I'd like to think we've come farther than that. Please be considerate and thank your artist.

Good Afternoon!

 

I'm pleased to announce that I am your new Moderator extraordinaire. I will be doing some updating and clean up, and will be posting new contests and such ASAP. All threads that have not been used for the last month or longer will be moved to the archive. All  the thread requests will be dealt with, and such. As soon as I know about if I'm looking for student mods and such, you will know.

 

I'm really looking forward to making great art with you all!

Well howdy folks. I'm back. So, it seems we've gotten a little quiet here in the last few months, but not to worry, there's all kinds of fun coming your way. If you have things you would like to see, let me know. I know the irony of this here is I don't actually have a computer to do graphics (netbooks are fun) so currently I'm literally just here to moderate and keep you having fun things to do.

 

I'm looking at reviving the contests area and an old and ancient tradition of the monthly banner (because you guys do cool stuff!) feel free to shoot me a pm if you have ideas. But please do note that I am a real person with a real life and pming me multiple times about something is not likely to help. I'm here if you need me.
