It appears that even though the Chancellor of Education removed Prof. Ann-Louise Omagan, he was under the imperious curse. One can only imagine who put him under the imperious curse.... At any rate, after sorting through this mess that Lydia's left the Chancellor has reinstated Ann-Louise Omagan, as well as her faithful governors: Prof. Bryant Waters, Prof. Chauncey Clemenceau, Prof. Isabella Robins, & Prof. Luna Creevy. At this time the culprit behind the imperiod Chancellor has not be located, we're going to remain on high alert around Hogwarts.

Professor Applications for the Fall Term 2007 have opened! All those interested in becoming a professor should first read the professor handbook found here: Hogwarts Handbook: Chapter 10. After reading the handbook, please fill out an application by clicking here. Professor Applications will close August 25, 2007. Professors for the Fall Term 2007 will be announced on August 26, 2007. If there are any questions, please contact Prof. Clemenceau ASAP.
-------------------
Prof. Jerzi Spinner and Prof. Isabella Robins have been going through the clubs and PMs Prof. Isabella Robins have gotten regarding clubs and have made some decisions on the clubs we currently have. The current clubs are the Junior Wizengamot, Animagus Guild, Maurauders, Banner Club, Book Club, Dueling Club, and Drama Club.
Junior Wizengamot: Prof. Bryant Waters runs this club with head students and prefects. This club plans schoolwide events and is currently active. We have decided to keep it around, of course, since it is needed and it's a great club.
Animagus Guild. Master Jacob Matthews will be taking over this club. He is going to try to bring this club into some great activity and get some plans made for it so it can be more active. It seems like it could be a great opportunity for the Animagi of the school and we wish them luck.
Mauraders' Club. This is a student run club who's main goal is mischief. A professor will not run it, of course, and will remain since it's fun for this group of kids.
Banner Club. This club will be moderated by two professors: Prof. Jerzi Spinner and me, Prof. Isabella Robins. It is going to be re-organized and all old posts will be archived. It's a very active club, and needs to dedicated professors to keep it running smoothly.
Book Club will be headed by Prof. Sorcha MacSween and Roisin Doyle. It is active, and has been for awhile, so we see no need to change the moderator.
Dueling Club needs for the Professor Moderator and Student Moderator to PM me or Jerzi Spinner as soon as possible. We need to make sure this club is active, which we believe it is.
Drama Club. This, as far as we know, has no activity. Therefore we have decided to scrap it.

Happy 2 Years Hogwarts Online! I'd like to thank all of our members, for this is a day that should be celebrated! On this very day, two years ago Hogwarts Online was founded as Armoise Academy. Thank you for all the memories and for all the great times members!
Prof. Chauncey Clemenceau @ 1:45pm EST.
The Chancellor of Education has announced a new decree:
"With the power vested in me by the Ministry of Magic under the esteemed Ministress Valencia, I hereby release Prof. Chauncey Clemenceau from his position as the Assistant Chancellor of Education at the ministry of magic for complete incompetency and I also expect to see Prof. Ann-Louise Omagans resignation from her position as Headmistress of Hogwarts on my desk in the morning or I will have to release her as well.
Signed,
Drake Ashland
Chancellor of Education"
Prof. Ann-Louise Omagan later handed in her resignation:
"To Mr. Drake the Chancellor of Education, the Governors, Most Respected Staff, and Students of Hogwarts
After reading the Ministry Decree, I have decided that in these times, it is best I let the 'professionals' handle these situations for there are to be dark times ahead of hogwarts. The Ministry has called for my resignation and after much consideration to the events that occurred in the great hall, I have decided to step down.
I hope that the Ministry can retain the order within the walls of Hogwarts as it seems that I am unable to do so. I thank all of you who have supported me in the previous years and wish hogwarts only the best. It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to you all.
I would also like to say that i send my prayers out to those who lost their friend, Ms. Yakuza, and it saddens my heart to see such a brilliant mind wasted so coldly. Her death will be avenged, as I believe you all to know, and she shall not be forgotten, for today will go down in the history books.
I expect the students and staff of Hogwarts to be competent enough to handle the Ministry and their best intentions. As they place one foot forward, try not to fall too far behind. For now, I myself am forced to move forward. Away from Hogwarts, and I can only hope that one day our paths shall cross again.
Thank you
Ann-Louise Omagan
Former Headmistress of Hogwarts"
The Chancellor of Education announced his new appointment:
"The Ministry would like to thank Ann-Louise Omagan for steping down so quickly
and also without making a scene.
The Ministry of Magic hereby would like to Announce that Ms Lydia Parcelas, has so graciously appected the post as the New Headmistress. Please all students and staff give her a warm welcome.
Signed,
Drake Ashland
Chancellor of Education"
On July 14, 2007 around 9pm Prof. Chauncey Clemenceau was murdered by a new form of evil. Information concerning his funeral will be posted at a later date.
Headmistress Lydia Parcelus @ 1:20pm EST.

It gives me great honor to end this very productive year by announcing the recipients of this years governors awards! Each of these recipients have worked very hard to win the award and they are well deserving of recognition. Please hold all applause until the end. So without further ado lets begin!
- Golden Quill: Allison Cho
- Sapphire Heart: Starlite Night
- Silver Sword: Lila Holloway
- Bronze Owl: Prof. Natalie Valencia
- Golden Gavel: Christopher Coldsteel
- Special Services to the School: Prof. Miranda Arneson
- Headmistress Award: Prof. Jerzi Spinner, Prof. Fleurette d'Sane, Prof. Marvin Peevison, Prof. Isabella Robins
- Order of Dumbledor: Artemis Foil
As we end this year, and another term, it's time to take a moment to remember those Professors that have decided to leave Hogwarts at the end of this term. I'd like to thank all of those that have worked hard in their classes, and I wish them the best in any further ventures they may take!
Thank you to Prof. Damian Darsh, Prof. Liberus Creaton, Prof. Madison Lafoy, Prof. Miranda Arneson, and Prof. Talena Zelati. Your work is greatly appreciated! Thank you for all you have done!
As we begin the Summre Term, Hogwarts Online has hired 3 new professors that will join the already professional team of educators. Whether you have them in class, or see them around the castle be sure to welcome the following professors to Hogwarts: Prof. Daniela DeLeon, Prof. Norman Lux, & Prof. Xavier Night.
Finally, one of the most important announcements. Due to the massive, site-wide spread of double characters, the Governors of the
site have met and agreed to pass the following bill:
All students of Hogwarts Online must PM Headmistress Ann-Louise Omagan with a list of all their characters, including adults, professors, creatures, students etc. Prof. Omagan will then compile a list to be posted in the Governors Conference Room. Prof. Clemenceau will track IPs to detect matches and double characters that are not claimed. The Governors will then go through the list and determine which characters can be kept, based on activity and development. No student from this day forward may make double characters unless they PM the Headmistress first. If a student fails to PM the Headmistress with all their characters, they will be deleted; no question asked.
All unclaimed characters not posted on the wall will be deleted. I would like to remind everyone that this is, in no way, a responsibility that you may shrink away from. If you do not personally claim your characters, I will let them be deleted and will not listen to the "But Ann's" I am sure to get. I do not care; this bill has been passed. I will give you all exactly one week from your latest login date to do this.
Prof. Chauncey Clemenceau @ 7:50pm EST.
The Hogwarts Online Governors sat down recently in a long meeting and read through the comments posted by our members in the "Your Opinion" posts found in the Remembral. Many people thought that the governors had forgotten, but that's not the case. We'd rather you have plenty of time to have your say and to let the issue die down before making our ruling on it. For the governors ruling, please see the post in the announcements by clicking here.

Hogwarts Online's Spring Term 2007 is well underway! We are currently in our 3rd week of the term and we are looking forward to a summer full of Harry Potter!
It brings me great joy to announce that the beloved Prof. Ann-Louise Omagan has decided to return to Hogwarts Online. The governors have lovingly invited her to serve as Headmistress again once the 2006-2007 school year has ended, which will be in late June.
Prof. Chauncey Clemenceau will go back to his old position, which was Head of Staff. He really enjoyed this job very much and misses being able to devote more time to it. Prof. Chauncey Clemenceau is VERY excited about having his other half (Ann) back on the governors board and is looking forward to the next school year.
Attention all Ravenclaws! Quidditch is back, and your team captain, Tessa Shelley, invites all Ravenclaws that love Quidditch to find the post in the Ravenclaw Common room and join the team! Remember that with no team, Ravenclaw can not play and they can not pulverize the other teams!
Beauxbatons Academy is opening it's doors for an exchange program. Any quills earned there will be added to your student profiles here. Classes should start last week of May and run till end of June so that both sites classes can add the quills at the same time so you can move up in year.
Congratulations to Rayasha Yakuza who has been named the new Slytherin Head Girl!
Prof. Chauncey Clemenceau @ 10:35 EST.
Hogwarts Online 2.0 is almost complete! There are just several more areas that need to be added. Almost all of the Student & Professor Offices have been completed. We have seen a variety of different courses and applications from professors across the globe, however as always we can only offer a designated number of classes. However, this term saw the least number of denied courses and applications. At this time, I'd like to welcome our new professors for the Spring Term 2007:
» Prof. Madison Lafoy - Basic Astronomy (Returning)
» Prof. Nero Equidea - Art History and Archeology of Medieval Uk and Ireland
» Prof. Renee Grandampre - French Culture
» Prof. Edward Sullivan - Basic Alchemy
» Prof. Damian Darsh - Basic Ogham
» Prof. Juan Brant - History of Magic
» Prof. Steven Dukelow -

Please remember that the Winter Term ends on March 25. Make sure that all your make up work is caught up and you are ready for exams week. Do not let your homework pile up until the last minute!
Prof. Chauncey Clemenceau @ 5:10 EDT.
February 24, 2007
Welcome to Hogwarts Online 2.0! The all new version may look similar, however that's where the similarities end. The office has many new functions that allow professors and staff to quickly complete tasks.
Many of the bugs that occured on Mac systems have been fixed so now all users can easily access the website. The site is not totally completed as of yet, the links to the left that are italicized still not avaliable. However they should be by the start of the Spring Term.
The Student Office and Professor Office are still under construction as well. Some of the best features of HO 2.0 can be found in the office. Thank you for your patience as it has been a long road to this release of the new version of HO.
Professor applications are now open, please click here to send in a new application.
Prof. Chauncey Clemenceau @ 11:00am EST.
The Hogwarts Chamber has appointed it's new leader. Prof. Isabella Robins will serve as the first Chamber Director for Hogwarts Online!
