RPC - Throw an impromptu party

 

Okay, so Rush had just gotten on the train. And after his initial detour towards the prefect compartment, something he had realized later, he had gone back to the compartment where he had thrown his luggage into. It was his 7th year. Literally, his last year in school. And Rush had no inclination of having another year here, because he knew what he wanted out of life after this to be honest. And he totally wanted to move onto that, especially since his friends were moving on with their lives while he was still stuck in school. But that didn't mean he was just going to pass the time without really having fun. So, real adult life was all great, but it was a lot of responsibilities. And this was his last year of shedding those off and just being...him. Also, honestly, this school needed to host more parties.

 

And hence that idea was born, and Rush had rushed out when he had heard the trolley lady to actually get a lot of snacks and such. Who knows, if he can totally surreptitiously sneak his "stack" out..only if some students would want. And the prefects wont come.

Draw something on glass

 

Briony had stopped at the trolley for a snack, only to bump into Rush. Naturally she had been excited to see someone who wasn't completely lame, but she hadn't intended on sitting in any of the same compartments as her housemates. It wasn't because she didn't like them, but she was in a sulking mood and didn't like to be seen sulking. Rush had different plans, apparently. He'd told her about a party idea he had and basically dragged her to this compartment father along the train. Briony pretended to be annoyed, but she didn't mind in the slightest. At least now the train ride would be more entertaining, right? She'd made sure to purchase some Droobles before she allowed Rush to drag her away, though. Along the corridor of the train, Bri unwrapped her gum and shoved it in her mouth in one chunk, but when they got to the designated compartment, she stopped outside of it and smirked knowingly. "Hang on," she murmured as she pulled a tube of lipstick from her pocket. She opened the cap and wound it so it was sticking out, then messily wrote a message on the glass of the door to the compartment. Cool kids only.

So yes, Rush had gone out alone with the hopes of stirring something - but had returned with an accomplice in the form of Briony Macsween. Okay, so the girl was awesome - in her own way. In fact, he had found himself being a really animated person in her presence as compared to other people who were just lame. She was definitely not lame. And he knew when he had basically dragged her towards his compartment so that he could basically throw that party - she would not say no. But it was when she stopped right at the door of the compartment, pulled out a lipstick and scribbled that message on the glass - was he truly impressed. "Damn Macsween, you keep getting cooler." He smirked, looking at the message - before pulling open the door and then shouted out into the outside hallway. "PARTY IN COMPARTMENT D!" Moving in, he tossed a soda in the direction of Bri, before taking out his magical music player and blasting out music through the door.  "Catch!"

 

They weren't doing anything illegal...yet. Shouldn't be a problem with prefects..

 

"SHOULD WE DO SOMETHING WITH THE LIGHTS?" He called out to Bri over the sound.

Briony smirked at Rush's comment about being cool, shrugged a shoulder and winked, then used the lipstick to swipe some color over her lips. She snapped the cap back on, put it back in her pocket, and blew a swift bubble with her gum. Funnily enough, the gum captured some of the lipstick along the way, but whatever. Apparently Rush had more in mind than she would fully understand, because he had a plethora of food and mischief in his eye. She wasn't expecting him to toss a soda at her and she gasped, nearly choking on her gum as she caught the soda. Luckily she managed not to let the bottle explode or break, but she had to free the gum from her airway with a little cough. "Rush!" she scolded playfully, slapping him on the arm - though not hard enough to hurt. The music he started playing had a really strange, muggle feel to it, which she only knew because of that time her father had taken her into a muggle village so he could meet up with a friend or something. Parents were strange. "Yeah!" Briony called out, loud enough to be heard, and looked up at the lighting in the compartment. Thinking a moment, Bri pulled her wand from her back pocket and pointed it at the lights. She muttered a spell she knew, and suddenly the lights were changing colors in a flashy display.

What was awesome was that this girl knew the spell to change the lights. Because Rush didn't. Which was also why he had asked her to help out, he wasn't going to admit he didn't know the spell tho. "THIS. IS. EPIC." He shouted over the din, staring at the lights which had caused the compartment to become real trippy. Like..reaaaaaal trippy. And with the club kinda music that was playing from the music player, it was totally looking at some cramped form of a club. He had opened a can of soda himself and was now swaying to the music. "We are sooo getting detention.." Dancing, he moved closer to Bri, sorta egging her own to start dancing as well.

The entire compartment looked like some form of inner city London nightclub, which got Briony's blood pumping in no time. She'd never been clubbing before, which she absolutely wouldn't admit in front of Rush, not that she cared to be judged but she did kind of care. Few sixteen year old girls didn't. She opened her can of soda as well, only to have it fizz up because of how Rush had tossed it. She brought it to her lips and quickly sucked back the foam, then smirked at Rush's enthusiasm to the music. "Detention," Briony repeated with a smirk, standing still. She'd never had detention before... and for about a split second she had second thoughts about this, but then Rush was dancing and egging her on. She stared at him in amusement, then finally let out a laugh as she tossed her head back a little and started to move too. "Then let's make it worth it!" she said over the music, letting out a little squeal of delight and giving a twirl, her soda held firmly in one hand to avoid spillage.

Try to throw someone off the train

 

Aimi followed the two carrying some of the snacks and as she opened the door. Her eyes went surprised mode. Ok.. These two are like having a mini club in the compartment. This is shocking. Though as she closed the door. She does like the music and honestly the party lights effect was epic. She then said, "Wow guys, you two took this seriously." She said sitting by the chair and decided to open one of her candy quills because she feels she needs some sweets. She wonders one thing. She remembered seeing one of the students trying to throw someone from the train. She havent tried that but remembering the sight of it. Honestly, she can't imagine how she will try to pull off throwing someone from the train. That would be so weird. Though she thinks the student was able to ride the train since it would be a big trouble if that student wasn't able to go in. Why was she thinking about that when the music there is great. "What is detention guys?" She said chuckling a bit. Wow, hearing that from a Head Student be like We are not yet in Hogwarts guys. I should still be free somehow right?

[Make train noises]

 

Cecilia is in one of those weird zones where she is doing very weird things. Such as making train noises as she searches from one compartment to another. "Choooo chooooo choooo." She got a strange look from one of the older boys and stared back at him, but decided to stop. Okay, no need to make people think she's lost it. She was hoping to come across a certain someone but instead, she opened the door to another compartment from where she can hear loud music. God, even on the train? Cecilia pushed the door open and stuck her neck in to see what was going on. There was Aimi, Briony and a boy, cute by the way, who was apparently dancing. Ceci hasn't really been to a club or anything but she's assuming it has a similar vibe and couldn't help it. "Did I hear party?" Also there was Aimi so she is assuming it's okay to join.

Lily clambered onto the train and began to wander down the corridor looking for a place to sit. In her hand, she carried a bag of snacks that she'd picked up from Diagon Alley shortly before. Up ahead, she heard music pumping from compartment D. Lights were flashing everywhere. Pausing she peeked in with a grin and saw some older students partying away. Sliding open the door she slipped inside. "I brought snacks!! Anyone want some?" She flashed a smile at Briony and Cecilia "Can I join you guys?" The music was so loud that she could hardly think never mind her herself talk. Shouting at the top of her lungs was kind of fun.

Slap Someone

 

Aimi was enjoying the music when one of her bestie Ceci was there. She lightly playfully slap Ceci's arm and said, "Of course it is a party" She said enjoying the music. Suddenly, Lily also joined in with more snacks. Ok, after this train trip she promise she will run around the grounds 3 times first thing in the morning. "Lily! Hey! Of Course, The more the merrier right?" She said chuckling like she was part of the one who organized when she herself was just invited too by Rush. Time to enjoy before getting serious in school right. Its not like everyday you see a party suddenly happening

Briony was pretty stoked about this whole party potential. She didn't mind the prospect of getting a detention anymore and was actually pretty amused by the concept. Her first detention because she had an amazing party on the school train? It was kind of epic. When Ceci arrived, Bri broke into a grin and linked her arm in hers with a little giggle. "Hey Ceci," she crooned, really only knowing Cecilia because of Goldie. The two were cousins and Briony thought she was a cool chick. She released Ceci just as another, younger girl entered the cabin. The first thing Bri noticed was that she was a prefect. "Out!" she said, pointing at the door, but then she saw that the girl had snacks. "Oh... nevermind. You're cool. Stay, share the snacks, dance." Bri chuckled at her little overreaction to show she didn't really mean it.

_{Carter missed boarding the Durmstrang ship but the Hogwarts Express is definitely an experience that is equally worthy. There's just something about this British trains, he couldn't find the right words to describe them. He feels... comfortable. After the camp and that explosion at the stadium, Carter was really worried about being in crowded places but this is Hogwarts-related we're talking about. This is a safe place, he told himself. With a sigh, he adjusted his bag on his shoulder, then overheard someone shouting at the hallway about a party or something. Camp Avalon and this summer sort of changed him in a good way and he's starting to explore more, to hang out more with new people. Throwing caution to the wind, Carter shrugged and opened the compartment that houses the so-called party. "Hope you don't mind another person joining in." He offered a smile to them, noting two familiar faces: Aimi and Ceci. "Hi." He greeted them. "I'm Carter."}

Despite her mom being some kind of Big Deal in Durmstrang didn't necessarily mean that it translated down to her. There was no way that Imogen was going to miss out on having a lot of fun along the way, life was far too short to play by the rules and be a good girl because that was boring! So when she heard there was a party in compartment D she was up for that. It was that or sitting with a bunch of girly girls and boys who wanted to be jocks and that wasn't her vibe at all. Plus the majority of her friends were prefects now so fun with them was gonna be far between.

She bounced as much as she could towards where the music was coming from and poked her head round with this massive grin on her face, loving the fact that there was some awesome lights and clearly the cooler people in the school. "HEY!" she called out over the noise. "THIS A PRIVATE THING OR CAN ANYONE COME?" This was really her kind of vibe and she loved it. If Hogwarts was going to be like this, she was completely down for it!

[Play truth or dare with your friends]

 

So the party was in full swing. And to be honest, with the way people were joining had actually surprised Rush. This was Hogwarts. He had the impression these kids were a stickler for rules. Bri was one of the few people he found remotely interesting, apart from obviously..the blonde head student. But that was for other reasons. But looks like he was mistaken, because not just the other head student had joined, but every random kid ranging from 1st years to 7th years were there. And he totally wished more would join. That's when this would actually get epic. 

 

"Totally!" He had responded to Bri, as he danced along with her, laughing as she twirled with that squeal. Okay, she was cool, cute, and funny. And he was just realizing that she was totally..uhm..hot, as well. While dancing, when they were alone, he had moved a bit closer to her. But then Aimi, the head student had walked in, and Rush had backed off a bit so that its not really..awkward. "Of course we did. Go big or go home, right?" He grinned at the head student as she looked around. Okay, maybe they did go over the top for a simple back to school party - but live life king size, eh? Hearing Aimi comment about detention caused Rush to look at her with amusement. "Now, that's the spirit. Here, soda!" He tossed a soda at her as well, just as another girl walked in (Cecilia). "Yes, you absolutely did!" He grinned at the younger girl, before having some snacks levitate around everywhere so that whoever wanted they could have it. Another girl walked in (Lily) who had more snacks. "Absolutely! More the merrier!" He echoed the sentiment, waving as another guy joined in, introducing himself. "Join in Carter! I am Rush. This awesomeness is Bri, that awesomeness is Aimi...and I really don't know the others.." He chuckled. "Soda?"

 

A younger kid joined (Imogen), and while there is a clear age difference here - Rush waved her in as well. "OPEN..OPEN..OPEN! In fact, let everyone know with that voice of yours." He grinned, before turning back to the group and lowering the volume of the music. "Okay, I have an idea. Let's play a little game called...truth and dare!" He picked an empty can of the soda he had finished and placed it in between them. "I'll go first!" He spun the can around, waiting to see who it will land on. 

 

[Okay, how we play this? Whoever replies next has to pick truth or dare. And the person who replies after that gives a dare and spins the can again. And so we go on. We dont have to wait for the first person to do their dare..they can just post whenever they do. This is so that nobody gets stuck and we keep the party going. Even more fun, if you can go over the person's ticket and suggest dares that will actually help them complete the ticket :P ]

play truth or dare

 

Briony was already having a great time and things had barely begun! She was seriously glad Rush had dragged her into this. With a head girl on their team, maybe they would actually get away without detention as well. School hadn't even started, so why should they get in trouble? Bri smirked at Rush, watching him in silence for a moment, then looked toward the door as a few more people squeezed in. "Hey," she said smoothly to the hunky boy Carter, who was in her year so she recognized him but hadn't actually really talked to him. What she did remember was that he was Goldie's first crush, or something like that, back in their first or second year - she couldn't even remember now. Funny though since he was obviously nothing like her current type Shaad. Briony almost laughed at the thought, wondering what Goldie would do if she were crammed in this compartment. She doubted her friend would be having as much fun as Bri was. "Join the fun," she quipped to the young girl who looked like she was totally new to the school. That was the moment Rush decided to announce a game of truth or dare. Briony swung around to him and drank deeply from her soda as he set up a bottle to spin in order to decide who went first. She lowered her now half empty soda can and laughed when the bottle landed facing her. "Alright. I'll bite. DARE!" She said loud and proud. The full on rebellion was coming forth in this girl.

It was the last time she was traveling on this train but without any regrets. Lydia had gone to the camp but left halfway due to her brother's health. He was nursed back to his stronger self and had come to drop her. Waving him goodbye, she ventured deeper into the train, looking for her friends when she came across loud music from the closed compartment. It didn't take much time for Lydia's curious little mind to pull it open and she looked inside to find a couple of students partying. The only person she was able to recognize was Rush who she had ran into in Sweden. Apparently the guy was moving to Hogwarts and was already in a full swing. Who would have thought that he is a newbie? She slipped in as one of the older students picked a dare. This gotta be interesting.

RPC: Chat with a Student from another house

 

Dare! That was the word Amina heard when she’s passing by one compartment followed by loud music. Merlin! Are they having a party there? There was a note posted by the door which says Cool Kids only. Well, I am one, so why not? She leaned on the door to get a good look at what’s happening inside. Her eyes narrowed seeing the rainbow-colored lights and several students were gathered where a bottle was spinning. Oh, I know this! They’re playing truth or dare. Amina silently opened the door and joined them, she stood beside the other girl who’s closest to the door (Lydia), “I haven’t missed anything interesting yet, have I?” She whispered at the girl, Amina knows how crazy this game can be. It sucks if she missed a lot now! She wanted to join the fun. “Count me in!”

[Bromance]

 

There was a party apparently... you have that on a train? Wow. Shaad had mentioned it to Goldie who agreed to check it out. While she had gone down to check on her brother, he went to the Compartment where the whole shenanigan was happening. The train was filled with people he knew and didn't know. There was Bri, Ceci, Aimi, Lydia Amina (Raijin's twin), and new faces as well. "Supp man." He slipped next to Carter, a boy he's not seen and Shaad is assuming he was probably new. "What did I miss?" He asked the group, glancing towards the door but Goldie is still not around yet. Bri was accepting a dare and Shaad looked towards the other guy (Rush) who seemed to be the mastermind behind the whole thing. None of his friends were there and Shaad realized he's not made them, missing out on all the bromance. This term was going to be about changing that.

Goldie had had to slip away from Shaad a moment just to check on Linden. She really needed to make sure her brother had found a comfortable compartment and that turned out just fine. She worried for him, but he seemed to be handling himself. He had been a bit gloomy... but that was okay. She followed the sound of music and ended up at the compartment that was basically bursting at the seams. Once there, having somehow slipped in, her eyes landed on Briony, who was dancing really close to Rush and then saying she accepted a dare. She mocked throwing up, not actually throwing up, but then giggled and slipped her hand into Shaad's discreetly. "Hey," she murmured. "Lin is with some friends. Wow, this place is uh.. busy." She looked around at them all and her eyes got a bit bigger.
