This is happening on all my accounts. My one shared one (Baelfire), My teacher one (Louis) and the one I'm currently on.

 

I was able to access the chatroom all day (minus a period of time when I wasn't on the computer for thunderstorm reasons). I left to go to supper and when I came back..I was like usually kicked out of the chatroom. I had refreshed and now I have the "IP chatroom limit has been reached and I have to wait for others to get off"  Thing is 3 people out of the 4 have gotten off in the time I been *trying* to get back on and no matter how many people get off-it still gives me the same message.

It seems to be a site glitch. Those who can fix it have been made aware of the situation and I am sure it is being sorted

I'm getting tired of this glitch thing. I haven't been able to access it for 3 days today being the third. It's not cool.

We ask for patience in this matter as the Governors are very aware of this issue and actively working to fix it. Please be understanding in the fact that they have numerous tasks they handle on the site as it is, and do have real lives. The world is not going to end because we don't have chat, it is one less feature available yes but remember there are still numerous other things on the site to do. There was a time chat didn't exist on the site and everyone managed back then without it, so a few days is not a big deal. Please have patience.

What seems to have happened is that in the process of forum updates, the licenses have mismatched so we simply need to update our chatroom and it should be fine!

It looks like it's the same time of year that this problem happened last year, so we just have to be patient for Prof. Clemenceau to come online and renew the license for the chatroom.

We've gotten in touch with C so that he can renew the license. This is a busy time of year for him in real life, so please be patient in the wait

UPDATE: C has renewed the chat license. It works again.
