Phoebe Levan {5}
Matty was so commited to the role, it was easy to go through the scene because he made it very believable. He could be a great actor since he was so convincing as Chad, it was hard to believe they weren't two different people. Their chemistry was transfixed onto the scene and they really enjoyed it. They would do great at the Thespian Society to be honest, though she wondered if she could make Phoebe's uncomfortability believable as she wasn't uncomfortable at all, only because it was Matty, her Matty. It was a bit complicated to hold back her laughter and amusement, and that was why they had messed up several times already. Angela was worried she'd do that now as what she had to do next was something she really didn't want to do, no matter how many times Matty had told her it would be okay. The last thing she wanted was to repeat the scene and that specific moment, so she had to do it right.
Chad seemed to not really catch onto the seriousness of her rhetorical question. Phoebe looked at him in disbelief as he started laughing and explained himself. Which girl dreamed about having their first time at the backseat with Chad's twin knowing what was happening inside the car? She had expected something entirely different, and while it didn't need to be out of some fairytale, it definitely didn't look like this. Her face had changed and was staring at him, feeling like her little pink bubble had bursted on her face. He just wouldn't hold his tongue and made it worst with every single word that left his lips. Phoebe wanted to cry so badly but she would never do that in front of a guy — that would be the worst thing she could do. Her eyes became icy instead and her face, stoic. At least she had that ability, to not let him know how this whole situation was affecting him, at least not really. She'd only shake her head and laugh sarcastically, but as he kept on commenting about her dress and moving his hand, that's when her whole demeanor shifted. Phoebe's hands went to his and stopped it abruptly before slapping him, hard. Her hand had been balled into a fist and her first reaction was to punch him, but she softened midway as she wasn't a fan of violence. "I'm not one of them!" By no means she thought she was 'different than the rest' or some shit like that, and she had never pretended to be a saint, pristine or something along those lines, but she had imagined her first time over and over again and it looked nothing like this. Chad had been the ideal prince with a bit of a bad guy attitude, but you know, she didn't believe he could actually be the bad guy. His intentions were super clear and well, he'd have to look for that somewhere else. Phoebe quickly moved past him to reach his door and unlock the other doors, then pulled the handle and finally pushed the door open. "Most boys would kill to see this dress off, and you know what? Now you're one of those that'll never do." She mimicked his voice tone before slamming the door. Call her dumb if you may, but Phoebe was looking for a real connection, not a physical relationship, and it was just mind-blowing how boys seemed to only want to be the first to sleep with a girl, as if that was what women were for. Guys chasing virgins around the school were a real deal, and she had been told Chad was one of those, but she didn't listen. Guess she had to see it with her own eyes.
As soon as her part ended, Angela rushed towards Matty's side of the car and opened his door, cupping his face right away and pouting. "I'm so, so sorry! Did I hurt you, baby? Does it hurt? Awe, I feel so bad!" She gingerly touched his face and gave him a tender kiss. "You'd like to see the dress off, then?" She whispered near to his ear, teasing him as she always did while she kept on examining his face with a coy smile on her features. "We don't have to re-do it, do we?" Because she didn't want to slap him again. They had had a few arguments and fights, but she had never gone this far and she felt awful. She had only slapped one person twice in her life, and that was Santi. If she had felt bad back then, when he had totally deserved it, imagine how she felt right now. Of course it was acting and they had a special way to do this without causing harm, but no one had given her directions on how to do that. "Better?"
