i just met someone online and would like to rp but was told cannot leave school to do it. were can a set up a page to rp with people on or is there already someplace set up

You cannot leave the school during school terms indeed. And you cannot start any thread outside of it either. But everyone can RP in Durmstrang right now, and until the end of the month (it's what we call Durmstrang's pride month), so you can set up something inside Durmstrang for the both of you.

​Before we begin, welcome to Hogwarts Online! We hope that you enjoy your magical RP journeys and never fear, for there will always be members around to assist you in any and all ways!

To begin, let's analyze your membership. You are currently sorted as a student of Tyr House. Your house will be located within the forums of the Durmstrang Institute. Since you are new member, and a first time writer of this character, you will need to be introduced to the ways of Durmstrang and HO.

Before you begin your RP adventures, feel free to check out the Durmstrang Admissions Office. Here, you will learn all about what you need in order to RP.  Topics that you should review in this area will consist of Contests, the Spells List that you could cast during your years, the directory of Sweden, along with the information on the Houses of Durmstrang, Special Programs and more.

We highly recommend that you check out the Arms of Durmstrang. This area is a Mentoring Program specifically for students who will be attending the school. You will be paired with an older student who will RP with you and introduce to you the magical life as a student in this school.

Once you have applied to be in the mentoring program, we strongly encourage that you check out the HO System Role-play Central. In this area, you will have the opportunity to start your Character Development. From claiming a Celebrity Face to setting up a personal profile about your character's personality and history. You can also read about other members of HO from all three countries.

Finally, we have our very own festival happening, the The Durmstrang Pride Month! This is a great area for you to get to know members and to participate in many fun RP Games and Activities!
