Winter 2021 Professor Applications
Below, you'll find the open teaching/Department Head positions for Winter 2021 at Hogwarts!
All applications are due by Friday December 31st
A few things to remember:
- To apply to teach a class, you must have been a member of Hogwarts Online for at least 3 months, preferably 6. This is to ensure our professors have an understanding of how HO and its classes work.
- If you are making a new character, you must be within the character limit rules. Otherwise, you may need to transfer an existing character to the UK or to Hogwarts to take on the position if you're hired. If you're unsure about the character limit rules, PM the Directors of Roleplay, Prof. Britney Bryne for assistance.
- All professors must utilize and abide by the Universal Academics Standards for Quills and points.
- All House Administrators must teach at least 1 class.
- All Department Heads must teach at least 1 class in their department.
- We ask that all writers limit themselves to teaching a maximum of 2 classes at Hogwarts. Writers may only have one professor.
"I have a question! Who do I ask?"
- For questions about applying or teaching a class, direct them to Prof. Guinevere Meredith in a PM.
- For questions about a specific class (for example, the curriculum that's covered) or a department, direct your questions to the Department Head.
