[Allison Devereaux] [1]
Ana was in the biggest dilemma of wanting to give up her role and continuing it. It wasn't the role that was the problem... it was different and she liked different. She could ace it too being the great actress that she was. But it was the actors. It was like she was entangled between them. Her characters supposedly best friend and x were two people she couldn't stop. If that wasn't enough, Daniel's character was her character's boyfriend. It was strange and as she kept reading the script, she just felt weird. This was wrong on so many levels and actor or not, she wouldn't want to consider it. But then after Santi had gotten his role, she figured if he could do it, she could too. Have better control over her emotions, you know? So, she didn't back out. Part of it was also because she didn't want to hurt Daniel's feelings by showing he was the reason although if she had done it, it would be for him too. She couldn't imagine how hard it must be for him... reading that script and realizing how this was to end. The previous few scenes had been strange, arguments and then Nora being the best friend but they were still okay-ish? She could deal with them. But the upcoming one... Ana had no idea how to act it out as it involved, well... scenes. Scenes she would only want to do in character and out of character with Santi. But she had gone through with the acting so there wasn't any room for backing out unless she wanted to spoil it. Giving herself a pep talk for an entire hour, she had already prepared herself to act like Allison, think like Allison, and be everything Allison. So no Ana thoughts were going to bother her or make her feel guilty, or she hoped. At least there were less lines.
Allison... the character, it was her turn now and Ana closed her eyes tight and then opened them ready for the act. After the intense match against their rivals, Allison had pretty much crashed, unable to bring up the strength for any social activities. She had three classes the next day, two jobs back to back and the charity event Nate had made her promise before their fight. She knew it was her fault... she was always thinking about herself but it was necessary. Necessary to survive. Unlike the school she's in where power, privilege, and money are everything, Allison comes from a completely different world, and to survive, she needs to work her ass off on that sports scholarship and make sure she has enough money for her college. But she also didn't want to blow off Nate so she made sure he was penned down in her diary for the day. Pushing past the entrance, it was a usual weekday morning where students around her rushed to classes but no one greeted her like she didn't greet them. It was like this the everyday. Fumbling with the keys to her locker, Allison stopped without looking sideways and opened her locker door for her books when three to four balloons popped up. Surprised and embarrassed, she hastily pulled at the strings and pushed them backward, her face red with embarrassment as people walked past her snickering... some curious. Allison's eyes landed on the card next to it, congratulating her for the win and she groaned. Nate... only he could do something like this.
