Joining in with RPC 18. Work Out
 Maddox Williams
Before the move to Watfield, Maddox main focus was hockey. As a junior, he was already captain of the team of his old high school and he hoped to play at college level as well. However, before the season ended Maddox had to move to Watfield, where he could only start to pick up sports in spring season. He had tried out for both the basketball and the football team, and ended up on both the teams. After a long day of classes, Maddox had basketball practice on his schedule. He changed into his uniform in the locker room before running out on the pitch, where he saw Asher was already waiting for the team to gather. "Hey dude." He greeted his teammate and raised his hand, gesturing for him to pass him the ball.

Rachel Lefebvre [Open Scene]
Sofi always thought she was a natural actress. After all, she was the most dramatic person in her own life so those sorts of talents had to be put to good use, right? She figured out as much but that didn't mean she didn't feel a tad bit nervous, especially with a camera plastered across her face at all moments, and at times not really knowing where to look. It was so weird pretending like the camera wasn't right there or acknowledging its presence. Obviously she couldn't break the fourth wall but it was so tempting. Like an instinct even, to take note of what was lingering and name it. Either way, it was getting easier as time went by so Sofi took a deep breath before starting.
She started doing some basic stretching. Rachel was part of the track team and just like Sofi, she was athletic and popular so at least they had that in common. But unlike Sofi, Rachel was constantly pretending and in high school nothing sucked more than an obvious pretender. Sofi had a hard time understanding why Rachel couldn't just be herself and relied on this mask of pretend energy and happiness to get through the day. Well, she supposed she did understood but it was highly unnecessary. Why would anyone want to go through life like that? When she finished stretching, she started sprinting. Sofi had practiced jumping through the obstacles before this take but there was always the possibility that she might trip on them. She hoped not, though that would make for a funny blooper.
There is an hour left before football practice starts and Allison wasn’t around so he went to the locker room instead to change into his sports wear and grabbed his bag making it to the field. It wasn’t empty - their school pays as much attention to sports as it does to academics, one of the reasons his father sends them here and wants him to pay full attention in order to get into the top Ivy leagues on football merits. Nate has different plans for his future but he can’t build up the courage to let his father know that his dreams are different from his. Not that he’s not passionate about the game, he’s out here practicing, isn’t he? An hour before the actual practice starts when Nate can easily fool around with the rest of the teammates and that speaks for him. Leaving his bag on a bench, he uncapped his water bottle and gulped a few sips down whilst scanning the field and spotted Rachel.
Daniel took a natural pause thinking back to his lines as he approached her character who is supposed to be Nate’s friend.
She is currently running around the track and Nate sped in the same direction planning to join her; warm up and catch up. “Sup Rach? Training for the marathon?” he wore his easy smile, catching up to her.

Unlike her character, Sofi didn't actually enjoy running but now she was here and she had to do it. If it had been put o her, she rather enjoy the freedom of speed by flying but that would prove difficult when filming a scene that took place at an American muggle high school. Yeah, that wouldn't fly here. Pun intended. She had been practicing her track skills in order to film this scene. She wanted to make sure it looked natural but not too perfect, just like a high school athlete would perform. She had come to a sudden stop, noticing some of the other actors going about their scenes and looking at them with curiosity. What would prevent Rachel from checking out some of the cuties at her school. She would even lean down, stretch quite dramatically, even allowing her shirt to rise and her midriff to show. "Huh? Oh hi Nate," she said, turning to look at him. "Maybe. You know how I am about competition. There is always someone to beat. What are you doing here by the way? Aren't you supposed to be in practice? I heard there was an important game coming up."

Portraying a character different from him got easier long as they kept the emotionally exhausting scenes out of the way. Daniel who’s currently switched to Nate’s role had nothing in mind but the scene in the play and the lines to recite. “True. I heard the other participants are an equal match.” By that he meant Allison but knew better than to mention her upfront. Didn’t mean he thought Rachel was any less. She was a popular name where sports was concerned. “Good luck.” Nate’s attendance at many of the sporting activities is up to mark due to obvious reasons. He is supposed to jog and warm-up prior to his practice but Nate found himself slacking and getting caught in the conversation. “Doesn’t start for another hour. Allison’s busy so I figured might as well get warmed up for practice.” It’s smart of him - this way he can conduct the team warmup and get the fieldset for their practice. “It’s this weekend against the Hawks. I have a good feeling about it - we are going to win it.” Nate was more confident than ever. Not overconfident but he’s got faith in his team and so far their practices are getting better day by day. After all, the Otters have selected the best of the best. “You coming to watch?” Nate asked her, starting his own stretching.

Sofi's hardest challenge for this class was figuring out who played who. She had a cheat sheet with everyone's names on it but that didn't make it easier. There were so many of them taking the class at once that she genuinely needed a moment to think what character she had a in front of her. Luckily for her, however, her peers were always really good at improvising scenes whenever the script didn't go as planned. "Busy doing what?" Rachel asked without much interest. Well, she did have an interest in what was going on around her. She was a terrible gossip after all, but her tone of voice sounded so disinterested, like her mind was miles away and she was only half paying attention to what Nate was saying about his girlfriend. "Is she going to be cheering for you? The other team is undefeated." She thought about Allison and her talent for distracting males. Surely she could do something to help Nate and his team win. "Is there going to be a victory party? I am in such a desperate need for one."

[Allison Devereaux] [Closed Scene with Scarlett Thorne]
[RPC: Girl fight]
Ana had to double check her scripts because they were hilarious. All the relationships were turned upside down for her character... her best friend was her enemy, her enemy was her best friend. Her boyfriend was well not even in the picture, and the one person she wanted to stay away from was her boyfriend. Talk about complications. She had paid a personal visit to the writers room just to scream at Anton for their teams writing before she went to the reading room to prepare it with Alyssa who was on the floor laughing as she read the scene. It was funny, definitely and Ana was looking forward to it. It was a funny scene regardless of the upcoming cat fight. Her hair were open for this scene but neatly brushed and smoothed so they won't get in the way of the lacrosse game. The stick in her hand, Ana walked to the outdoor field and smirked at Alyssa who had her bitch face on.
During the Lacrosse practice, Allison and Scarlett get in the middle of a girl fight due to their differences
Allison was frustrated. This was the third time Scarlett and the rest of her posse didn't pass her the ball. Just because it was practice, they were playing this game as none of them appreciated the fact that poor, underclass Devereaux got the MVP last game. It was the third time, she was close within the range and the coach was even getting frustrated at her. This was it... she was done. There were some players who shot her a sympathetic look and told her to just let it go but this wasn't about just letting it go. If they kept doing this, she might as well be benched for the next game. The thought of that fueled Allison who believed her scholarship was more important than this stupid girl drama and when the next shot was thrown, she ran directly at the girl and purposely jammed at her, using her feet to trip and swept the ball. What? This was lacrosse... they are supposed to be violent. It didn't matter that the coach just blew the whistle and showed her a green card. "Sorry, my bad... didn't see her." Allison said sweetly as she readied herself, waiting for Thorne to get up.

Dawning the appearance and role of Scarlett, she prepared for the shot once more making sure she’s not laughing anymore. Scarlett, her character is annoyed. Everyone was on cloud 9 after winning the losing lacrosse game. Everyone, except Scar. As much as she claims to be the better of the two co-captains, it was not her shining on the field and Allison’s name chanting was still buzzing loudly in her ears. Ms. Nobody was a star player and her team were losers. When they came back and loser Devereaux left the locker room, all hell had broken loose on the team members as she menacingly remind them her power on the team and how they can be out if she wanted. Their silly excuses were a waste of her time and she walked out determined to make Allison look bad.
Practicing the other day, Scarlett got her chance. She made sure none of the team members passed her the ball and for the third time when she’s close to it, Scar made a run and stepped on her foot. The whistle blew and she apologised and they are back in the game. What she did not expect was for Allison to play dirty as well. They’ve been co-captains and she knows Allison would rather walk off than confront so it came as a surprise when she’s shouldered hard and was on the ground. Scarlett was on the ground, her lips thinned out in anger and embarrassment as she slapped the hands of her teammate away and looked at the referee. “I’m fine,” brushing her skirt straight, Scarlett glared at her co-captain. “I really want to believe that was an accident,” she would if the look on Allison’s face did not mirror triumph. With another whistle, the game started again.

[Allison Devereaux]
Ana had to agree, this whole lacrosse girl fight was hilarious. She and Alyssa have fought on many occasions but they have never come to a physical war. Their characters have other plans for them and this one involves a literal catfight with the tackling and rolling and all that. She wanted to laugh because Ana didn't see herself as a physically violent person so the fact that her character starts it is funny. But this is acting and they all gotta do what they won't normally do.
Allison was trying to be patient but she's on a sports scholarship and every practice, every performance was reviewed. Sure, she was a star player in the last game but this would all go away if she didn't even manage to get hold of the ball a single time. Scarlett knew that and she was doing everything in her power to make sure Alli didn't come anywhere close to the ball. As usual, her little kittens were doing her bidding and when the water went high above her head and a taunt from the gamekeeper over her inability, she knew she had to do something. What that something was... well, you know. She purposely slammed into Scar who lost her balance and fell. Allison took the chance to sweep the ball from her and ran towards the goal but the whistle rang. She wasn't upset though. Not at all. Here she was with the ball and even though she hadn't scored... the satisfaction of what she had done made her feel lots better. Scar's comment made her roll her eyes and she chuckled, walked to her position. "Then you must be delusional," she muttered loud enough for Scarlett. With the whistle blown again, the game started and she hoped one tackle would be enough to get her in place but of course not. Who was Allison kidding? This was Scarlett and until she wasn't knocked on her ass, there was no way Allison was getting the upper hand. So she did it again. Allison with her stick ran towards Scarlett just when she passed the ball to the other team member but didn't stop there and literally banged into her. The whistle blew again and she was shown a yellow flag but at this point, she didn't care. The game started again and this time Alli didn't even bother to be discreet. She literally shouldered her running her way, slamming her to the ground with a force that she would be knocked off. The whistle blew again, the gamekeeper storming towards her with a green flag. "Running out of colors, Allison." She was told as she stood straight and brushed her clothes with a smirk on her face. Ana, on the other hand, was enjoying this too much but felt bad at the last tackle cuz it was hard and she didn't want Aly to get hurt so she mouthed her an apology.

As the Jets and the Sharks meet on center stage from the previous scene, the lights dimmed from the side of the stage, the spotlight focusing on the two groups on the center of the stage.
There is only silence.
The Jets and Sharks face each other, sizing each other up, waiting for someone to make the first move.

(1 – Charlotte Montclaire/Baby Jane)
They were getting at the climax now and backstage you can practically sense the energy shifting. She's smiling as she watched the others moving about. She was hanging out by the side of the stage because she was in successive scenes and that break in between was gonna be pretty short. Charlie quickly grabbed her water bottle and took a sip to soothe a dry ache in her throat then she quickly went back to where the others were stationed. Just a quick change in the set then out they go again.
Under the highway… a dark, hidden area. It was a place where nasty things can happen and it would go unnoticed for a long while. It was the perfect lil' spot of a rumble. To get one's businesses settled without any disturbances or anything. Baby Jane was trailing after the other Jets. Both hands deeply buried in her pockets as she looked up ahead. The Sharks were here now as well. They were all face-to-face and tensions were running high. But everyone was silent… for now, that was.

#1 – Ariadne Gladstone / Anybodys
There was no break from the last scene as the Jets and Sharks were now face to face on the stage, the spotlight on the two gangs in the middle of the stage. This is the climax that they are all waiting for and she could feel the buzz of excitement in the air already. The audience waited in silence as the tension reached another level.
Anybodys was behind the Jets, but she could see the Sharks eyeing them down. She was expecting some bloodshed and she was hungry for it. This is going to be her express ticket to becoming a Jets and she will not waste that opportunity. She just have to prove herself useful and loyal to the gang and everyone will like her and accept her with open arms. At least, that’s what she was hoping for. It was silent at the moment, the gangs waiting for the other to make the first move. She looked at the weapons that the Sharks have in their arsenal and she got a little nervous. It was dark under the hallway, but there was just enough light for her to make out some of the other gang’s features.
