If anyone knows of really yummy recipes that are lacto free and rich in tastyness I will be really grateful! Low fat preferable
I lost 131lbs... I was a chef for 6+yrs and took 2 years of Culinary School. I am currently writing a cookbook.
I'll tell ya this, I substitute regular milk or cream in most recipes with almond milk and usually vanilla almond milk. Its lactose free, tastes awesome and is lower in calories than skim milk yet has the consistency of whole milk.
I also have no gallbladder!!
p.s. for Xmas my boyfriend got me the Unofficial HArry Potter cookbook! I have yet to try any recipes yet though a lot look yummy!

There are many brands of soy milk out there and you may have to try a few to find one that you like the flavor of. I've found that some I don't like at all and that is why I like almond milk plus its lowest in calories. But if ya can't have it...
you can also try milk substitute made from coconuts. It is claled Coconut milk but not the same thing as you get in the can and use in Thai cooking. Look for it in your organic section by the soy and almond milk. Be careful though it is higher in fat & calories.
I've never liked lactaid milk.
If this isn't a good fit for you, then maybe try the lactaid chewable pills. Then again I am neither a doctor nor a nutritionist... which could be better to ask.
Wait.. question.. I am also lactose intolerant too. But I can't have almond milk. but i can't tolerate skim but not as much.. So what about lactate milk? Is that good?? or Should i take the pills instead..

Simply mix everything in a bowl and store in a screw top jar in the fridge.
To Serve:
Place 1/4 cup of mixture above in a screw top jar with 1/2 cup of olive oil and 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice. Close jar and shake well to blend.
