Teaching Assistant Information and Requests
Teaching Assistants who complete the requirements outlined below are eligible to earn a TA Quill for their work.
Professors seeking a Teaching Assistant, as well as students looking to apply for a Teaching Assistant vacancy, should read the following carefully:
Teaching Assistants
- Must have at least 1 Quill in the department applying to TA for prior to the start of that term
- Must number every post made in class
- Must complete at least 3 RPCs from the list provided by the supervising professor
- Must participate in every lesson posted by the supervising professor
- Every post must be at least 5 sentences in length
Professors
- Must provide a list of RPCs for Teaching Assistants to choose from
- Must PM the Academics Governor at the end of term providing documentation that the TA has earned a Quill
- In addition to a TA Quill, if your Teaching Assistant goes above and beyond they are eligible to receive 50 Points to be submitted at the end of term by the supervising professor
