Greetings all,
After deliberation amongst the Governors a change in our policy on student/underage drinking has been made, please read the following carefully to ensure that you understand these changes and are in compliance to them as they are effective immediately:
-Illicit drug use (muggle or magical), drinking, and smoking are forbidden by all IC school rules at Durmstrang, Hogwarts and other schools or programs that may be created.
-While these IC rules always apply, students who are in 6th or 7th Years may engage in these IC activities on or off school grounds. However, students should be aware that an adult, or another person of authority, may interrupt the RP and issue IC punishments such as point deductions and detentions.
-In accordance with HO RP etiquette, it is recommended that authority figures ask permission before interrupting an RP.
-Students who are 5th year or below are not permitted to engage in these activities. Persons found violating this rule are subject to moderation by the HO team and may be asked to edit their posts or have their RP archived.
If you have any questions regarding these changes, or whether or not something falls in line with these changes, please do not hesitate to reach out to any Governor for a clarification.
