I think it would be interesting to know in how many languages we can communicate in this forum besides english.

 

I can speak English, French and Spanish very fluently. And you?

I'm not a native english speaker. i speak Malay and English.

on other language, i can understand japanese and chinese. but i can't read or respond back if anyone is going to talk to me

I'm fluent in english (or so I hope ), french and spanish. I know a little german and japanese (but can read very, very few kanjis). I understand italian when spoken, and portuguese when written (but can't respond in either of those languages).

My native language is Finnish, I speak English fluently (or so I hope), I speak a bit of Swedish (I've studied it for six years yet can't speak it properly - us Finns, we have an attitude problem with Swedish, and we often simply... neglect our studies). I did study French in high school but I can only say "I am a subway ticket" in French. I'm studying Russian now - I can introduce myself and ask very simple questions. I also understand bits of German and Japanese.

I speak English (both British and American), Southern (American), and several computer dialects. I learned just enough Spanish to be dangerous but by no means fluent and have a smattering of words in various other languages.

 

It has been so long since I last spoke Vulcan that I think it may have mostly left me by now.

I speak English, I'm semi fluent in Portuguese, and I've studied Spanish (which I'm better at understanding than soaking but I can communicate with children lol), French, and American sign language.

I'm Hungarian, so that's my native language I speak French and English very well. I also learned some Chinese, but I can only remember the sounding of some simple sentences or words... But I plan to learn more, i'm really interested in languages!
