This guide outlines the process and requirements for recycling or revamping existing character accounts on Hogwarts Online.
This is available for all characters and the requests must be submitted by sending the required code below to the Director of RP only.

Student Accounts
If a writer wishes to recycle an old student account, the following rules apply:
- The student character must restart from Year 1. If you wish for your character to be on higher year level, a separate application for Older Student must be submitted to Prof. Sorcha Logan after your character has been recycled.
- Any Quills previously awarded to the old account will be removed from the Office.
- Any information listed on the Approved Walls must be removed.
- If a face change is required, the writer must follow the Mirror Mirror rules and receive approval from RP Director before making the change. Once the recycle application has been approved, copy the RP Director in your PM to Mirror Mirror stating that it's an approved recycled character.
Adult Accounts
If a writer wishes to recycle an old adult account, the following rules apply:
- The adult character will be placed into a standard adult masking.
- The writer must reapply for any jobs the new character wishes to hold.
- Any information listed on the Approved Walls must be removed.
- If the previous character held Official Alumni Status, that status will be revoked.
- If a face change is required, the writer must follow the Mirror Mirror rules and receive approval from RP Director before making the change. Once the recycle application has been approved, copy the RP Director in your PM to Mirror Mirror stating that it's an approved recycled character.

Note: * This code does not apply to simple surname changes due to adoption, marriage, divorce, or similar circumstances. These requests should be submitted separately via PM to the RP Director to update the Approved Walls to reflect the surname change and the reason for the change.
