| The Hogwartsl News area is where Prof. Chauncey Clemenceau posts the most important announcements of the happenings on the site. Usually a new announcement is posted at least once a week and it includes several upcoming events, and some new items to announce or personnel changes to announce. There is also a feed of the Hogwarts News onto the index page for more convenient viewing. | |

House Common Rooms |
Each house has a common room and a website devoted just to that house. The website is open for all Hogwarts Online members to view, however the common room is a private place for just the house members to visit and socialize in their house. Hogwarts Library |
The Hogwarts Online Library is currently run by Prof. Elizabeth Peevison. This library is the location to submit books and read books written by our members. The Library is an easy way to earn house points. For more information about library book submission please read below. Also, you can check out our library forum by clicking here. Starting in the Spring Term 2008 students will be able to participate in contests set up within the library. These contests can range from image contests to literary writing contests. All of these contests will contain the ability to earn house points. |

Hogwarts Radio |
| The Hogwarts Online Radio, more commonly known as WHO Radio is run by Prof. Luna Creevy. WHO Radio has two very different and distinct areas. The first area is the actual radio broadcasted out over the internet for all to hear. The second is WHO Interactive where members can hear podcasts and post in the chat area provided. | |

Hogwarts Awards |
| At the completion of each term awards are given out to deserving students and Hogwarts Faculty members for their dedication and hard work throughout the past term. The awards are broken down into 3 main categories: Governors Awards, House Awards, & Department Awards. These awards are displayed on the Hogwarts Awards page. | |

Great Hall Chat |
| Hogwarts Online offers a personal chat room for all members to talk in. This chat room is used for many things. The Great Hall Chat room is a java chat room and should be assessable to all members. This is a great way to communicate with members that do not have the other types of instant messangers downloaded on their computer. |
