4. Hogwarts Areas

| HO Pensieve is a new concept developed under the new ministry. In the past, Hogwarts has had its own newspapers, generally under the name Hogwarts Pensieve. Some have been successful but all have ended up failing. The concept has been changed a bit and integrated with the Daily Prophet. Hogwarts announcements will only be found at the HO Pensieve. Announcements will be posted daily by a number of people. The initial news for the day will be posted together automatically at 7am. Throughout the rest of the day announcements will be posted. | ||

House Common Rooms | |
Each house has a common room and a website devoted just to that house. The website is open for all Hogwarts Online members to view, however the common room is a private place for just the house members to visit and socialize in their house. Hogwarts Library | |
This library is the location to submit books and read books written by our members. The Library is an easy way to earn house points. For more information about library book submission please read below. Also, you can check out our library forum by clicking here. Students are able to participate in contests set up within the library. These contests can range from image contests to literary writing contests. All of these contests will contain the ability to earn house points. |

Hogwarts Awards | |
| At the completion of each term awards are given out to deserving students and Hogwarts Faculty members for their dedication and hard work throughout the past term. The awards are broken down into 3 main categories: Governors Awards, House Awards, & Department Awards. These awards are displayed on the Hogwarts Awards page. | ||

Great Hall Chat | |
Hogwarts Online offers a personal chat room for all members to talk in. This chat room is used for many things. The Great Hall Chat room is a java chat room and should be assessable to all members.
