Way back in April of '06 C did this whole campaign for house points on Myspace that I spied on some random music hunt. So I joined up, didn't get it as a total non rper, and left again. But a week or two later I came across another ad and came back. That night a cbox was in use and I ended up falling in love with a group of people that had found a place to laugh inside these unreal stone walls. The next two years were a rush of living in a world away from home. Here lately I've been alot busier in real life, but I couldn't imagine never coming back to play.

April was a big month for us 06'ers.. all thanks to c and those darn ads

Well, we'll have a new crop of students showing up soon. I went through a posted a whole new butch of ads on fb the other night.

I was searching for Hogwarts logo and I chose one that leads me to the homepage. I don't know what it was at first and I only made myself lurk around the office for some time then I saw the SORTING HAT link at the side bar. I am addicted to HP sorting quizzes and most of the time, I get Gryffindor so I tried it with Nearra. I was pretty sure I'll get Gryffindor but I was shocked to be sorted to Slytherin. After that, I don't know what to do but I wrote the site down, just in case. Then I showed it to Cassandra Flume's writer and made her figure it out. She got sorted and found how the forum works so I registered on the forums too. Since then, I tried to convince all of my friends who are HP fans to try this one. I actually got some of them try this out but they've been busy in RL.

I read about the site in Melissa Anelli's book Harry: A History. She's the webmistress of The Leaky Cauldron and when she mentioned it I had to join ASAP! I managed to get 4 of my RL friends to join too. (Same for Cassandra Winchester).

This is how I came about this site; through facebook. Which, in the end, I am glad I did because this gives me an excellent way to spend my hours of summer and defeat my boredom.

When I saw the site I just thought it was fantastic. I haven't RP'd for about 5 years (no particular reason, life just got crazy busy) but the premise of this site blew me away and sucked me right back in.

I posted this on the old site with my old charrie, but decided to post it on the NEW site with the NEW charrie.
Foofle's an amazing thing, isn't it? (If you type in foofle.com, it'll come up as Google.) I hadn't been rping in three years, having been band by my dear, dear parents, but was reminded when I saw someone say 'Inspired by an rp!' on fanfiction.net. So, I naturally searched up Harry Potter rps, and this was one of the first listings. I signed up and got my first character, the empathetic Ravenclaw, Hailey Sanchez. Went through the first term and part of the second before getting hit with an emotional disaster - I knew that if I wrote with her, I'd end up killing her, and I don't wanna be a murderer ^_^

I saw someone talk about it on AverageWizard and was reminded, so I came back only to find Hailey... *sniffle* DEAD! Well, just gone, I guess.... So there was born Annie!

My friend noticed how on Facebook, some people actually had Hogwarts as their school, and so she thought that there was actually some type of interactive Hogwarts (Basically what Pottermore seems to be) online. So she googled it and she found this.
And she linked me, and I have always wanted to try proper roleplaying (Since usually on DeviantArt, not too much in character roleplay happens in the chat rooms).

But in my mind, I received a letter by owl that told me I'm a witch

I met a guy at my school who had been on here about a year ago. He quit because school became too much. I decided to check it out and I think it seems great here so far! His character was Brody something.

By actively pursuing a Harry Potter RP that was both well designed and active (harder than you'd think!). This one fit the bill and I'm currently settling myself in. It seems so big I'm nervous I won't be able to understand everything but I'm trying not to overthink it.

I was just researching Harry Potter stuff and I literally stumbled across this! It looked interesting and even though I'd never RP'ed before in my life I was willing to give it a go. I found out very soon that I absolutely loved it and have been an active member since April this year.

Believe it or not I actually was reading this comic I found, it was about if Hogwarts had the internet, and they were on a website looking up the chamber of secrets, the website was called hogwarts online. I wanted to see if it was a real website so I googled it. Then HO came up, and I thought it would be fun to try ,and it is really fun!

I really don't remember. I have a feeling it was an ad on Myspace... remember myspace? *gasp*

Either that or I was looking for a sorting quiz. I remember poking around and I didn't know what it was all about or that there were other nerds in the world that liked the same stuff as me, to write and learn and geek out over Potter stuff. I am still baffled many days. Glad I did find it, and find my way back...
