JUNIOR WARDEN

Junior Wardens are considered as entry-level staff who do not have access in the prison area unless accompanied by a warden and only for purposes of training which is detailed as follows:

  • Familiarisation with the prison layout [high-security, general level, psych ward] and other areas deemed necessary [offices, restricted areas, trauma centre, etc].
  • Instruction on the protocols and procedures at the prison.
  • Supplementary training on physical combat and spell work.
  • Seminars on dealing with stress and trauma and/or attending sessions with a mind healer about the same.

Junior Wardens are also expected to assist the wardens in menial tasks whenever necessary such as filing paperwork, participating in general staff meetings, emergency response drills, etc.

Once training is completed, they will be allowed to perform full prison rounds under a designated warden's supervision. The satisfactory completion of a two-week cycle thereof (2 RP Challenges with at least 3 posts) is needed for endorsement to any one of the given full-warden ranks:

  • Warden (General)
  • Security Warden
  • Psych-Warden

PRISON WARDEN (GENERAL)

The main task of the prison wardens is conducting routine patrols which takes place at every six hour gap [6AM, 12PM, 6PM, 12AM], plus two more shifts which are randomly scheduled; these patrols are conducted by pairs, commonly. They are also tasked with delivering certain needs to prisoners at specific times and transferring prisoners from cells and monitoring their activities whenever applicable.

Newly-hired/promoted as well as regular wardens only have access on the general level prison cells; the high-security areas are only accessible by a few chosen wardens only.

SECURITY WARDEN

Security wardens are mainly in-charge of patrolling the perimeter of the prison. They also oversee the surveillance of the area as a whole and performs all security checks for visitors and staff. They are recognised as more skilled in combat magic than most of the regular wardens and have access (though limited) on most restricted areas and the psych-ward and high-security cells.

PSYCH-WARDEN

Psych-Wardens are responsible for maintaining peace and order within the psych-ward. Routine patrols are ran at every four-hour shifts and the rules are more strictly enforced in the vicinity. No visitors are generally allowed; the area is more restrictive and enclosed. Wardens who work here are required to attend their own sessions with a mind healer as well for regular check-ups.
