Obtaining tickets for the Quidditch match, the Ballycastle Bats against the Kenmare Kestrels, had turned out to be a bit more difficult than Lucy had anticipated it to be. The game was attracting all kinds of attention and the fact that Lucy was broke didn't help. Luckily her best friend had some connections, so she managed to acquire a decent enough ticket. The seats she and Zoey had were actually pretty nice all things considered, though it wasn't the VIP box. Following the crowd of witches and wizards pushing into the stadium and finding their rows and places, Lucy tried not to be jostled around much. She towered over several of the witches and wizards nearby and ignored some of the comments she got from a bitter looking wizard about being a Weasley. "Come on, Zo," she said, spotting their row. The stadium was huge and impressive and gave Lucy a thrill. She hadn't been to a professional Quidditch match in a long time and wondered if any of her family would be there. She hadn't connected with them to find out earlier, so she was a little anxious because she didn't exactly want to be seen by them. She'd been avoiding a lot of people since coming back from New York. "Do you think you'll get anything interesting for the paper?" Lucy asked conversationally as the girls settled into their seats. Lucy adjusted her top, which repeatedly fell off her shoulder due to its looseness.

Playing for the Kenmare Kestrels had been the best years of Roisin's life... until getting signed onto Ireland's national team, of course. She didn't typically attend the minor league games anymore because she was so overwhelmed with her own work, training, and games. However, she had run into Carina at the athletic center not that long ago and it had brought out some serious nostalgia. She decided that going to this game was worth taking time away from Ireland. She could have easily acquired some tickets for the VIP section considering her status, but decided to bypass that and go for the general population instead. She had a pretty nice seat at the south side of the stadium, at the perfect level to see the action of the game. She had dressed in a Kestrel's jersey to support them and was decked out in green. She didn't want to attract attention from anyone, so she hoped to blend in with the rest of the fans and not be hassled. Of course, it was probably inevitable, but ultimately she would talk up the Kestrels, giving them her full support.

Zoey had never been a huge fan of quidditch. She knew her father played in school, just like her brothers, but the idea never seemed appealing to the only daughter of the family. She definitely got those genes from her mother. Which is why at first, Zoey declined when Lucy asked her to go. However, when Luce mentioned all the celebrities that would be there, Zoey couldn't decline. It would be nice to hang out with her friend again, watch some people play that she knew back in school and maybe get a story out of it. She managed to secure some tickets from her dad, who got them from one of the game officials. As Lucy took the lead, Zoey followed behind in her high heels, which probably wasn't the best choice of footwear to wear to a quidditch stadium. Zoey sat down next to Lucy, instantly glancing at the VIP section. "Who knows? I hope so." The journalist started. "My colleagues are in the press stands, they're gonna report on the thing. I just want some juice." She said with the familiar smirk on her face. Leave it up to the former drama queen of Hogwarts to come up with a good story on famous people. She loved her job. "Who are we cheering for again?"

Lucy knew Zoey didn't really want to go to the game, but was pleased that she had indulged her. Of course she had dangled the celebrity card in Zoey's face because how could her friend resist something potentially juicy? She really wanted to be there to support a specific player and when Zo asked who they were rooting for, she looked at her in exasperation. Tilting her hat, she used her index finger to point at the emblem. "The Bats, Zo..." she said imploringly. She hoped no one around them heard her friends blatant ignorance. "I can't believe you wore heels to this game," she added, having glanced down as she tucked her own feet aside, allowing some other fans to slide past them in their row toward their own seats. Lucy was a fashionista as well, but even she knew that you had to dress appropriately for a Quidditch game. Still, it was one of those things she loved about her friend. "I heard Don will be here. Wonder if we'll get a chance to say hi to him at some point," she mused, glancing around.

Obviously Lavi was going to be on this side of the stadium. She had promised Ric that she would come to his big game, and she was even dressed up for the occasion. She had on a Ballycastle Bats jersey that she had bought from the official merchandise store and was holding a flag in her hand that she was possibly going to wave like crazy when Ric came on the grounds. The stadium had just opened so there were still a lot of empty seats. Lavi went over to find her seat as it was written in her ticket. It right behind two girls who seemed to be her age. There was just one more person sitting along with them in the stands, and as Lavi tried to zero down on where she had seen her before, she turned away a little embarrassed as the lady caught her staring. She was sure she had seen her somewhere, and she was pretty famous. Lavi wasn't an avid quid fan so obviously she wouldn't recognize celebrities, but Ric was and she had heard him talk all the time when he went on about his idols.

With the huge game coming up between two clubs, Ferris had been on the stands duty as an official. Being a fan of the games himself, he had a Kenmare Kestrels flag around his shoulders since he was in his robes. Being in a Ministry meant following a uniform protocol but that didn't mean he couldn't support his favorite team. Originally, Ferris supported the Kestrels because of Roisin as they were friends in school and he knew it was the team she played for. It had stayed his team even after she moved onto the national team because you don't just switch. The stands weren't still full but they had just opened the gates for the fans so it gave him some time before the whole crowd controlling part came up. Standing on the topmost stands, it took him a while but as he just grazed a look through the stands, he recognized her. Ferris wasn't expecting to see Roisin in these stands so she hadn't stood out to him. He quickly stepped down towards where she was and sat next to her. "I almost didn't recognize you." She looked smooth in that green jersey.

Roisin was snacking on a little bag of peanuts that she had grabbed on her way in and mostly watching people milling around. The stadium was filling up quickly, and luckily she had gone unnoticed so far.

Shoving a few peanuts in her mouth, Rosi suddenly wished she had a drink. She was considering heading back to the concessions to get one, when someone sank into the seat next to her. She looked over to greet the person politely, only to break into a grin. "Ferris!" Rosi said excitedly. He was dressed for work and she realized he must be on a patrol. "You didnt? Good. I'm trying to blend in." she relaxed a little and brushed salt off her fingers. "Are you working? I dont want to get you in trouble...

Family gathering was long overdue but she didn't expect it to be like this. Even though Canry had been a quidditch captain herself in school, those days were way past her and she had little to almost no interest in the game. She didn't even remember the last time she rode a broom. It wasn't her most used form of transportation. But how could she say no to her own son's request of watching him play? Not that he should be asking but he specifically did, knowing how his mother was capable of making excuses. It made it important for her to attend and there she was ushering Ana and Shaad ahead of her as she walked along with Jason, holding one of his hands. The good part was that the fan's area wasn't so crowded so she could find a good enough seat to watch the match. "Go on ahead, Ana." Canry glanced around the stadium, spotting Roisin Doyle, one of the celebrities. It was strange to see them in the fan stand considering how she was such a big name. She was sporting a Kestrels jacket, not a fan of the t-shirts. They weren't her type, nope. Finally, they had a good place to sit and she made her kids sit although they looked very disgruntled at being babied. Canry knew both of them wanted to hang out with their friends but she had hushed their demands. This was a Quidditch match with way too many people and the last thing she wants is for them to get lost. Not only was Jace playing but also her brother so she had to cheer for them. "Stop sulking, Shaad. You'll have your cousins soon and can enjoy with them." Who exactly did he want to watch the game so badly with? She was curious.

He's always the polite guy but Ferris grinned back, equally glad to run into her. They had talked about watching a game and even if she wasn't the one playing this one, she was still there and it was the same. "I didn't but I do think the others did." He had made a quick observation sitting there and people were certainly looking towards Roisin now. He wasn't surprised. She was concerned but he didn't think anyone would bother with him. "Won't you?" He smirked. Ferris doesn't mind getting into trouble because of her. "It's okay though. I have secured the perimeter and am stationed in this area so I'd pop out once in a bit for a quick overview. Aren't you lucky?" He leaned closer helping himself with whatever she was eating. They were past their formality, making him more comfortable around her. "Is it your first time watching your old team play?" Ferris hasn't been to a game in a while so he was curious.

Quidditch was in his blood so he was no way missing a match especially one that Jace and his uncle were playing but it sucked that he had to go with family. Shaad is a family guy and loves spending time with them but ever since he and Goldie got together, he wanted to go everywhere with her. Teenager, no? Don't blame him. So yeah it didn't suit him well knowing she wouldn't be there although his mind was making all sorts of excuses. Maybe she would be there. Why not? Her father was a quidditch player and she'd come with him? But deep down he had a feeling she won't and it made him sulk even if he didn't want to. He followed his family after getting a Kenmare Kestrels flag painted on his cheek, thanks to Anastasiya's crazy demand. Shaad was sporting a KK shirt, green like his entire family. He couldn't help feel excited because he's seen matches as a youngin but now he's old and understands quidditch. Once they were sitting in a good place, he noticed they were one of the early birds. "Mom, I told you it was too early. And I am not sulking. I just don't like being so early." He retorted with a sigh, sitting down and opening a can of a soft drink. The fact that he had to wait for another hour or so for the match was super annoying.

Goldie had heard allll about this upcoming Quidditch game. It was the talk of the house, what with Linden going with their dad. A special outing, apparently. Goldie didn't mind because she knew the importance of bonding, but it did make her feel a smidge left out. That was especially true when her mum had to work the same exact night and intended to leave Goldie to babysit. She had scoffed at that, and would have complained, but as if by miracle they had been contacted by her Aunt Lily. Apparently she had an extra ticket, and Ceci wanted her to come along to the game with them! Goldies parents had to figure out different babysitter arrangements, though it wasn't hard with a family their size!

Aunt Lily and Ceci picked Goldie up for the game and transported to the stadium together. She had decided to dress up in a cute outfit since they were cheering on the Kestrels, which was Uncle Tylers team. Goldie wore a pair of black shorts that hit mid thigh, a green tank top, and a Jean jacket that she had magicked to have the KK emblem on the back. Her strawberry hair was styled in two Dutch braids, tied with Kestrels color ribbons. A bit of glitter sparkled on her cheeks as well, making her feel like the epitome of a Quidditch fan.

"This is wicked, Ceci," Goldie quipped excitedly as they followed her mum to their seats. The stadium was filling and as they climbed some rows, she spotted the Roisin Doyle. Grabbing Ceci's arm, Goldie pointed her out with a grin, anxious and sure not to look like much of a fool. Then they kept going and eventually reached their seats. The first thing Goldie saw was Professor Hennings. Then she spotted Ana...and finally... Shaad! Goldie almost squealed his name but luckily caught herself. No one there knew the two were together, as far as she was aware. She gave him a flirty look, then her eyes darted to Professor Hennings. She had totally forgotten that Ceci's dad was related to them. "Hello Professor Hennings! Ana, Shaad..." her voice trailed off a little and she couldn't help but wonder if she could somehow get a seat next to him.

The Ballycastle Bats were playing the championships and he cannot be any prouder! And he was, of course, also deeply worried. Sebastian arrived in the stadium with Laeticia and Astrid. He gave his girlfriend a good luck kiss and she left them at the gates while he and his cousin made their way toward the stands on the north side of the stadium. Because of Astrid, they've received tickets and good seats so they won't be stressing over that. Sure, the VIP stand is the very best place in the whole area and he actually received a special invitation up there... yet he'd turned it down. Sebastian can remember sitting on the same place with the most perfect view, all so he can watch his own father's career ending with a literal fall from grace and a hard crash on the ground. Now, it was his girlfriend who's playing and he's not sure he can take seeing anything of that nature happening so clearly.

Laeticia was coming with him, at least. Sebastian can distract himself worrying about her, not Astrid. She's seven months pregnant; therefore, she can no longer be permitted to remain at home on her own. Julia was out too so there's no other choice but to get her to come to watch the game. He was assisting his cousin onto the seats and took the next one right beside it. "Remember when we watched the games as children with feathers in our hair and paint in our faces?" he said, chuckling and reminiscing better memories.

They just recently came back from their vacation and she gotta admit, she had some withdrawals the first few days she didn't see Dax. And so G was lucky enough to snag tickets for the League Championship for the two of them. She's obviously cheering for the Kenmare Kestrels because have you seen Carina play? She's her favorite player and she's wearing the Kestrels colors with a face paint that says "KK" on her right cheek. Her hair is tied on a loose ponytail and she can't wait for the game to start! Dax, on the other hand, is much more mellow because he has no preference. Obviously, their tickets are on the Kestrels side and she grinned from ear to ear, her excitement palpable. "Here, this way." She glanced back at him as she held his hand, leading the way to their seats. "Here you go."

Dax wasn't a massive fan of quidditch but he also didn't dislike it. It was a fun sport to watch and he was definitely open to going to the game with G. She was adorable in her fan gear, the face paint and her hair up. She looked like a muggle cheerleader. Dax had really enjoyed their vacation, but it was also nice to be home. He had been hired by the prophet as a photojournalist, his dream job. That was why he brought his camera to the game, figuring he might get some good shots.

"Cool," Dax said, slipping into the seat next to hers. "You know, I might be able to get a pass to meet the team... Take a photo for the prophet. You want to try that later, after the game?" of course he had no idea what was to come.

It's no surprise Jace was at the game, except that he figured he would have been put on house arrest. Maybe he was only taken because first of all, the tickets had been purchased long before his parents found out about his behavior, but also if they left him home alone there was the fear he would misbehave. It made him roll his eyes inside. He was counting the days until he could move out. Lately he just feels suffocated by his parents. Even there, finding their seats, he merely followed his mom and sister with a stony look on his face, remaining silent and brooding the entire way. He had nothing of importance to say, but did hope his brother Alec would do well in the game.

Now, what is a 7-month pregnant woman doing in a Championship Quidditch Match? Laeticia was not at all thrilled about coming here because of her situation. She thought that there was a limit to how far along a pregnant woman could be for her to come to these kinds of events. That was not important, apparently, as she was dragged to the stadium by her primo and his girlfriend who will be playing today. She knew the underlying reason Sebastian forced her to come: Laeticia Cabral can’t be left alone by herself. She can’t be trusted. She was not in the mood to argue so she allowed the couple to drag her and here they are. After being the weird pregnant third wheel during the travel here, she wished Astrid best of luck in her own special way. That simply means she snapped at the redhead. She should know Laeticia means well. And now, she was being escorted towards the seats that were reserved for them. She settled on her seat as Sebastian took the one beside hers. She adjusted herself on the chair to make herself as comfortable as possible but that was hard because of her tummy. Once she found a nice angle, she started to relax, but she missed the more comfortable chairs up in the VIP section. They always get VIP tickets to her Tio Santiago’s Quidditch matches until that fateful game. She looked at Sebastian and the tight set of his jaw. It was clear that he was remembering watching his father fall to the end of his career and now that his girlfriend is on the chopping block, he can’t be enjoying this too much. He was trying to focus on the good memories, so he can’t bee too worried now. A small smile played on her lips. “Remember when you cried when Tio Santiago missed a goal?” Of course she remembers. Her memories of quidditch matches back home were always fun and they hold a special place in her heart.

Despite their team losing in the quarter finals, Fred here will still watch the final match. He’s not going to support any team; he’s only going to watch to enjoy the game. It’s one opportunity he’s not going to miss, but of course he’s not alone in this, he asked his kids who wanted to go with him to the game and naturally, his eldest son was the first one to raise his hand, he’s very excited to watch the final match with him. Fred will not be surprise if one day, Linden will consider the same career. Whatever he will decide in the future, he’ll be proud of him. Anyway, with an event as big as this, there will healers and mediwizards who will be stationed around the place, which means, his wife will also be called on duty to hold the port, so, Flora won’t be coming with them. Marigold was supposed to baby sit her siblings, but Lily suddenly provided an extra ticket. They arranged other babysitter for the kids so Goldie could come with them. She went with Lily and Cecilia, while Fred will be arriving with Linden. The father and son bought snacks first before finding their seats which by the way is just beside where Lily and Marigold are sitting. “Marigold…” he called to his eldest, “Would you like something to drink?” He bought an extra just in case his family wanted something to munch on while watching the game. Fred noticed the place is getting crowded now, there some people who recognized him and greeted him. Fred, being Fred, smiled and made small talk.

Roisin looked in amusement, but then got slightly frustrated that she wasn't going unnoticed. Apparently people did see her and it was inevitable. "Ahhh," she muttered and would have just buried her face but decided not to. She laughed at Ferris' candor and gave him a sharp look. "If you get in trouble I'll bail you out. Who can resist the Doyle charm?" she smirked and slicked her hair back behind an ear, revealing little stud earrings that had a snitch. "Yeah, it is. It's a little bittersweet, you know? But I'm excited to see them play. Is Eryn coming?" Rosi knew Eryn very well from their days playing on the Kestrels together, plus she knew Ferris and Eryn were very close.

Clarissa Wayland wasn't a fan of Quidditch. But when Astrid began playing, you can bet she became a huge-ass fan of it! She was so excited to see her daughter show up and show out! There was only one problem: her… er, husband was also playing. Clary was so busy and so distracted with her work lately she's only made the connection recently. Alex and Astrid were both playing in the same team—and neither of them actually knew what they were to each other because of her… or at least, she thought they didn't. Between discovering she was pregnant, covering that up and keeping up with her workload in the ministry, she barely had time anymore to get her personal life organised. And both daughter and husband were busy preparing for this particular match. Now that it was here, and they were all here, she can't help but feel a sense of foreboding in the air. She was a little scared to see how everything plays out with three of them virtually in the same place but she hid her nerves well, passing it off as excitement. Santana was there, at least, along with some of her cousins and the children to distract her a bit. Clary was dressed conservatively in black and scarlet red to show her support; she was starting to show but she managed to still tuck her small bump away, mercifully. The entire family came together so she herded everyone on their designated row and seats, full-on mom-mode.
