Honestly, Dylan wasn't a great dancer, but he knew the basics. He was sort of worried about it, but the mask did a great job in hiding his face and providing the confidence he lacked in this environment. Now that they were at the dance floor, he had to look around to perhaps copy some movements, but his dancing partner seemed to be trained on the topic, so Dyl followed her lead, making it look as if it was the other way around. The colorful lights lit her figure and he couldn't deny she had pretty lips, nose and eyes, but he had already thought of that. Maybe this whole mask and mystery thing was good at getting people interested in others. Wait.. she wasn't Lidiya, right? That would be awful, but that girl was a walking stick, easy to spot because of that.
As they danced, the girl didn't seem to be all that interested in being here. Dylan was staring as her eyes wandered everywhere but him. It was as if she was looking for someone, or at least it looked that way. When she finally looked at him, he tucked his lips. "So... will I have a name or are you going to play along with the ball's topic?" He shrugged, attempting a twirl so she could focus on him and forget whatever she was thinking of, because Dylan liked to be paid attention to. Also, it was awkward to dance with a stranger without exchanging at least something.
