Transferring Schools

It is understandable at some point a student might want to switch from one school to another. This will be allowed, working both ways. We will allow students to transfer into Durmstrang and transfer out of Durmstrang but please remember that you may only transfer schools once. Students that have previously transferred from one school will have to remain at their transfer school for the duration of their education. Each school has character regulations that must be adhered to, and you may in no way violate the character creation guidelines.

If a student wishes to transfer, it first must be approved by the heads of both schools (The one you are currently a student of, and the one you wish to transfer to). You will be required to meet the guidelines of the school you are transferring out of. All transfers MUST be approved by both heads and if it is found you transferred without one of the head's permission, you will be denied and resorted into your old school.

 

Members may only transfers TWO students in total and reasonings for the transfer must be well thought out and detailed.

 

Transferring INTO Durmstrang:

 

1.) Contact your current Headmaster/Headmistress - they will require you to write an essay and substantiate your transfer request. Please be as thorough as possible regarding why you want to transfer schools.

2.) You have to be a 3rd year + to transfer.
3.) If Approved, contact the current Headmaster / Headmistress of Durmstrang with the request to transfer and forward a copy of your approved essay and transfer.
4.) When approved, your current Headmaster / Headmistress will release your file to me, and we will get you resorted!

 

 

 

Transferring OUT of Durmstrang:

If you are wishing to transfer out of Durmstrang you must send a PM to the current Headmaster / Headmistress with "Request for Transfer" in your title and the code below. Please keep in mind that proper protocol must be adhered when you transfer schools and there may be special requirements from either Hogwarts or Beauxbâtons.
